Like I say, the cards never actually got issued until the 23rd, because of the agents and team leaders I'd been speaking to not having a clue how to do their job...

Hence 7-10 days from 23rd July.... *Sigh*

Can't be too soon for my Experian report to get better. Down to two searches in the last six months but won't bother applying for an Experian-searched product until next April (three years from BR).

Hi Guys

I applied for the Creation Card last night and had the "let you know in 7-10 days message"

I already hold a Flybe £2k limit (opened march 10) and a Silver £1K limit (opened June 10)

Had a phonecall this morning from Creation they asked me the following

"can you confirm you applied for a Creation Card"
"Full Name"
"address"
"DOB"

Once I confirmed the above they said "your card will be with you in 7 days"

Hi all, just read the whole thread. Have been trying to get rid of Vanquis for ages so thought it wouldn't hurt to apply but fully expected to be turned down because like gkb I have very high rate of credit used and more than my salary in total but got this when I pressed submit

i called them as i was approved for the flybe, lady on the phone said she couldn't tell me the apr & limit until i received the card :huh:

Thats the message I got Kathy and I rang them yesterday and they confirmed a £5000 credit limit !! did not ask on APR as I will be using for a balance transfer so not too important at the moment, seemed very helpful when I rang up and said card would be with me in a few days then I can ring up and do any transfers I want.

A quick question for those who have already got the Creation card as I cant see the answers in their summary box,

What is the maximum balance transfer, assume its 90 or 95% ?
Can this card do transfers to bank accounts rather than cards on the same terms ?

Thanks, trying to do some planning for when it arrives to get the transfers done asap

They do offer money transfers, but these are charged at 22.9% (I think, higher than the purchase APR anyway) from the day you make the transaction with a 3% fee. Just the same as taking cash out at a cashpoint with the card.

If you want to get cash at 0% for 15 months, you'll need to use a different credit card, to paypal a friend some money, then do a balance transfer from that card to the Creation card, and ask your friend to give you the money you paypal'd to him / her.

This can be a bit pricey though, you'll actually pay 6% over the 15 months (3% balance transfer fee and 3% paypal fee).

Probably easier just to scrap the idea of getting cash from the card

Thanks for that, I assumed that was the case but in their summary box they had cash transfers and balance transfers in the same sentance so was hoping they were offering s super balance transfer as well, no worries sadly have plenty on cards that I use the 0% for
