It would have improved his chances if he had spoken to underwriter within 24 hours of application, but I think it's too late. The only way you can found that sooner is to call them

Actually as documented by my previous experience and others yes it will.

this guy has stated that he applied in april.

Creation and sygma operate a 6month application window in which if any other applications are made it shows as a duplicate and in this window NO underwriter will view the application unless the applicant speaks to an underwriter

So yes ringing and speaking to an underwriter Does and can help. Just like all other credit providers in this case

It's going to be 50/50, many got declined with the 7 to 10 days message but then again some got accepted....when I first applied for a sygma card (flybe) got the same message but within a couple of days got a letter asking to send proof of identity, but then got accepted straight away after that when I applied for Silver and recently Creation card

I agree if you applied back in April and got declined then you normally have to wait 6 months, but then what is strange you should have got declined straight away for eligibility

when i googled creation finance which is whats showing on my credit report it came up land of leather and stuff. thats why i thought it was the dfs couch...

just found this. creattion do do the finance dfs, currys etc as well as the sygma cards!!

i NEW i didnt apply for a credit card with them!

Oh I always thought it was HFC who did the finance at Curry's etc.

That's handy to know.

im slightly relieved...because i new i didnt apply for a sygma card. so i was almost worried.

So you're saying that they have not conducted any search on your equifax file as yet?
