ring 01217126939 state that you have a ref number and need to be transfered to an underwriter to speak about the application

The inital person you speak to will try not to transfer you by trying and get as much info from you as possible. At this point you need to make sure that this person cant access all the data about the application and and that speaking to anyone other than an underwriter is pretty much pointless at this point before them transfering you you'll need to basically say that you wish to speak with an underwriter to gain a decision on this application which is something that only an underwriter can do.

Be firm about the reasoning to speak to an underwriter. At the end of the day the person you initally speak to can't do much at all so only an underwriter will do.

I applied yesterday and had the 7-10 referral message. Rang up yesterday and then rang up 12 2day and spoke to the underwriter that confirmed that any application that is declined makes all subsequent applications auto-refer leading to a decline if an underwriter isnt spoken to in the follow days of the application and if an underwriter is spoken to a potential acceptance. ONLY after receiving the decline letter Then can it be overturned via an appeal.

Does this not make sense? (does to me but then agen i wrote it so it should make sense to me)

Ahh I see so because I've had refers for Silver and MyWorld in the past, it doesn't matter how long I wait before applying for say FlyBe, it'll always be referred so I need to call the straight up and push for underwriting?

EDIT: This thread is a terrible influence! I just applied for Flybe and got referred - spoke to Applications and they said it was flagged up as Duplicate but need to call Monday to speak to undersriting if I want the duplicate flag removed as they went home at 5:00PM.

Lol. I must stop this applying for Sygma lark!

You keep talking how long after applications for sygma,it does not matter remember i got accepted for flybe in march,then got accepted in april for the days card and the silver card..
Think it might even of been 5 weeks after flybe,i will check my equifax report as silver & days card both went as settled on my file..

I have had my sygma cards since December/January and never thought to ask for an increase but I tried it and they gave me an increase on 2 of my cards and said every 4 months you can ask for another increase. Now i am tempted to see if they will increase myworld card too. It really is addictive with sygma.

Some peoples have had up to 5k I believe, I have 3 cars with them and have 2 @ £2000 and 1 @ £1900
