our cat is very fussy , she will turn up her nose at most wet food no matter what brand or flavour , she doesn't like iams but usually likes whiskas dry food , she seems quite happy just to have this and nothing else ,

    YES!!

Daisy wont touch anything in Gravy! She'll eat Whiska's simply grilled meat pouches but,as I'm finding this week, not tinned.Nor will she eat fish cat food but she'll eat tinned tuna. She'll eat Go Kat for indoor cat & Purina one only. And she never seems to drink any water! I leave a big steel pan of water out for her but have never seen her drinking from it.

she's only fussy on stuff that she's suposed to eat , yesterday she came in with a bit of popadum that my neighbour put out for the birds , if she's in the kitchen and there's a scrap of chicken etc hanging around that she's not supposed to have then she'll have it , if i give her chicken in her bowl she won't touch it .... is it the hunting thrill ?

Yes, our two are extremely fussy. They will only eat the Gourmet brand tins and pouches. We've tried them on everything else going, but they will not have it no matter how long we tried to keep them on it. We were throwing it away every day. So, although the Gourmet is more expensive than any other, in the longrun we are saving money because at least it all gets eaten.

I'm pretty sure it isn't good for cats to be on dry food only, although I'm only going on previous threads I've read on here...

Wet food for breakfast but it has to be in gravy, not jelly and my girl cat only licks the gravy, she doesn't actually eat the meat hahaha

Hi life, feline fayre and applaws :)

She refuses to eat the less nutrional foods like go cat, whiskas etc. She's got good taste :rotfl:

I've tried loads of the expensive brands but had no luck. Just got to accept that mine are felix cats and always will be!

If that's what works for your cats then there's no problems there :money:

Daisy has no taste! I've tried her on the good stuff but after a couple days, she goes off it.same as her current food, she was on Felix, webt off it & is now on Whiskas.
I honestly dunno if I'm coming or going feeding her!

I've had this with my dogs - I put their food down at meal times and if they don't eat it I take it away and feed them nothing until the next meal time. It worked a treat as I used to give in and switch them over all the time which gave my german shepherd a poorly tummy. Perhaps you try the same thing with your cat? Or you could tempt her a little bit with a nice bit of tuna over the food? x
