Yeah, I think they must take the full 6 weeks to go through.
Rang the lady up at the branch, who opened my account, and asked about a cheque guarantee card and she said Behavioural Scores take 3 months to come up and she said it should be a problem, i need a BH over 50 to get one.0 -
Finally HSBC have set up there details on my credit files. After nearly 2 months.
EDIT Equifax only so far, Experian it's still not showing, maybe tomorrow after their updates.
I always find Equifax to be a day or two ahead of Experian when it comes to updating things, except for removing defaults/ccjs after the 6 year period. Experian will remove on or slightly before the 6th year date while Equifax remove them around a week after the 6 years are up.
While I'm here, I have some good news to report with my credit files...
Studio have now (after being threatened with court action) removed my never-used account from my files and this has updated. Was showing as a dormant account with a £0 credit limit since December.
And I disputed an "outstanding debt" search with Equifax at the beginning of July. They put a notice of dispute up on my file (which I didn't notice until they took it off lol) and they replied yesterday saying that as they had not heard back from the company that made the search they have removed the entry :T
24 days and counting until final default falls off. :T
Provident will be paid off on Friday this week :T
In other news....
Got a tax rebate for 2009/10 of £291 at the weekend :T (which is paying the car off. I borrowed £700 from my parents in June)
Got a tax rebate for 2010/11 of £43 in my wages last Friday :T
I'm nearing the end of my time as a Sub-Primer!Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0 -

Wow! That's one GOOD luck week!
Well done. I'm sure you are proud, and you should beJust try to keep prime after this with next to no new applications and leaving your accounts with the same providers for as many years as possible.
I feel the ultimate goal we should all be striving for is a Zopa loan approvalThat's what I am anyway

I'm back from Africa. I cancelled my direct debit for Aqua and forgot to pay them as I was in Africa. Payment was due on 22nd. I paid them in full today but they said I will get a missed payment marker now. I'm gutted.0

You never know though - whilst it will be recorded internally resulting in your not being able to get a limit increase off them for a while, they might not report it to the CRAs, just have to wait and see.

Well yes, I do have a 7 year plan...
With any luck work will put me through a degree (I work for the NHS) in biomedical science over the coming years (I'm just waiting for the next intake which will probably be 2011). This should conceivably mean a very decent wage and job position by the time I'm 40 (I am 33 in under 2 weeks, so hence the 7 years).
Whilst this is going on, I am positioning myself to have just the one main credit card with Cap 1 as a back up with it's mini limit and my Barclays bank account and no other credit at all. I plan to start saving for a nice deposit once all the debts are cleared so that once I am 40ish I can get a mortgage and have it paid off just in time for a nice retirement.
By the time I am 40, all old history with missed payments on accounts will have reached their 6 years, so I will have green zeroes all the way!
Life is slowly falling into place. :TRemember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0
