With my (non HSBC) accounts, I've found that they send updates (mostly) monthly dated the same day after the statement, but not necessarily on that day. So if they update on the 6th, and your statement on the 8th, it may take at least two more weeks before you'll see it. (And I've seen them missing a monthly update at a time).

I had my first statement on Monday, dated the 14th of July. I keep checking it everyday. Lloyds have set there's up already and that was exactly 4 weeks ago today.

Why are you not giving Sygma a try, depends on how your equifax file looks like.

I managed to make a payment of £1 to my vanquis account through internet banking, So I think I'll set a payment up to pay it a couple of days after the statement date.
Do people think this would work ok, given the processing time etc?

Funny you said that, because they told me I opened my in February last year. It's says on their system i've been a customer since February 2009. How odd because I never got accepted until June 2010.

I have just opened mine on 30th June and when I got access to internet banking I realised they had my phones and email address from an application I made one year ago.

BTW, how long did it take to receive the debit card and PIN, I haven't received mine yet. How were they delivered?

Strange, I have not received mine yet. Not even the PIN.

I opened a green account and was registered for internet banking only yesterday. Wonder if this has something to do with the delay.

i registered for IB within like 3 hours of account opening. I had my unique ID on the sheet that had my Acc no and sort code on it.
