I remember not so long ago someone telling me to apply for Shop Direct, catalogue first, account later. now I have £8400 to my name across 3 accounts :rotfl::rotfl: Could be a lot more if I used Littlewoods once in a while :rotfl:

Toss up between Barclaycard and Cap one, would in all honesty prefer Barclaycard, declined instantly last time but letter said...''may be worth reapplying in the future'

Barclaycard mainly search Equifax, infact i've never known them search Experian!

Info on Experian and Equifax pretty much the same now, had a duplicate default on Equifax but wiped off now :j My defaults are nearly 5 yrs old, Barclaycard state no CCJ'S in 5 yrs but assuming that maybe defaults have to be 5ys too
Sygma for some reason do not like me
Tried Accessory and Silver with no joy :mad:

How did you finally get that removed? Oh in that case just apply for an Barclaycard. I only said Capital One because of the double default.

On both agencies I now have 2 defaults, one to capquest, one to cabot. The Cabot one WAS entered twice on Equifax at 2 different addresses but raised an online dispute and finally got rid of one. Last time I applied to Barclaycard I had just opened Next account too so probably 'hindered' the application.
May give it another bash but online checker keeps saying 'soory, not eligible'
