    Yes for the price of the new house i was looking to buy. This one is alot cheaper and already have deposit amount 10%

    How long does the process normally take? am unsure as first time buyer

    Hi Guys

    I have found a house i want. Its only a few years old and been on the market for over a year. Its being rented out at the moment as i was looking to rent it last year. My question is what sort of costs am i looking at on top of buying house.

    House price is £165k Fixed

    I thought you needed a few months to raise at least 10% deposit, so no point asking for a mortgage if deposit not in the bank....on top you need a survey, solicitor, agency fee...probably another 2k at least on top.

    Well you need to know what they would be prepare to lend you with the deposit you have, income etc... At least it will give you an idea on what you can afford, but remember always best to have your mortgage in place before making an offer on a property

    Thank you. I do know with what i earn i wont have a problem at all etc also i already have the 10%. Will go see them this week and see what they say about it all.
