On another note I'm still waiting for my Aqua card to turn up. I rang them, and they said, it was sent out on the 13th of August.

You should have received by now maybe it got lost in the post. I would ask them to send it again.

My Aqua card only took a week to come.

Haha!! Was going to say I'd be quite concerned if my cards took that long, even with my complicated and unreliable post/redirections!

When we were you accepted? You might get it tomorrow if it was really sent Monday....

Ahh strange, I know they didn't take that long with me! I think mine was about a week too.

So glad I've got Aqua put up - My halls internet needs renewing on 30th, nearly £300 quid I think it'll be

Last year I think it was £230 for 20meg (which I got best value from, as I'm here all summer so £230 for a year for me, rather than 8 months for everyone else!), but they've been very sneaky with their pricing for this year - some addons have changed slightly and been un-bundled so if you want both it costs more etc. Internet has gone up to 25meg so that'll "justify" a hike no doubt!!

    Great!!

How long did the referral take from when you applied?
    about 24 hours

Have you applied for 1 yet?

Yeah the pin turned up on Friday I think. So it's taken it's time. 3 so far.

So do you stay at the Uni 12 months of the year?

Yeah I applied last night at 11pm, I still haven't heard anything. Do they issue a secure message to say Yes or No?

Ah strange, hopefully you get the card soon!

Yep, hopefully moving into a house next year though, so will move out of halls in July if I can, once my contract expires. Will cut the remainder of my summer rent by 50 to 75% that way!
