Evening
A few of you might remember i applied for a RBS account last yr etc etc. I never got the account until start of year i noticed them reporting to the CRA that i had a account with them. I wrote to them to get access to account and cards etc and below is my reply. Now they are still reporting to the CRA 9 months later. Is there anything i can do?0 -
What does it say the account "Start Date" as being on your credit file?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Then you need to write back to them stating that their response is irrelevant and not pertinent to your original query.
State in your letter that your query relates to an account that was opened in September 2009, and an entry on your credit file that shows an account was opened in September 2009. Include this section of your credit file in your letter.
Ask them that due to the data appearing on your credit file they have 30 days to either:
1. Provide the materials required to make use of this account (debit card, paying in book, online banking details, etc)
2. Remove all reference to this account from your credit file as it is representing a no existent account, be that the case
Good luck!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
