and on my fourth statement from from my cap1 progression card got an increase from 300 to 800
and since havin my vanquis card since january been given no limit increase from its startin limit of 500
havent went over my limit on any cards or missed any payments on anythin
ALL A BIT WEIRD0 -
Definitely
Consider Capital One Classic and Aqua before Vanquis as they are cheaper to service
After above advice I applied for Aqua and got letter today asking to sign credit agreement and return form. Does this mean I have definately been accepted?
At the bottom of reply slip (in the 'for office use only' bit), it says the following:-
450 Ref No. XXXX Name.
Does this mean my credit limit will be £450?
Thanks0 -

Yes,
and Yes (I presume you mean the first three digits in the "Don't mark below this line" line?)
Well done! Had a bash for the Cap 1 Classic?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Seems like I am back on the road again. :j
Thanks for your initial advice and feedback on above. Is it OK to apply for a Cap 1 classic now or will it be too many searches? Cap 1 were previously one of my creditors on the DMP (until I reclaimed charges !!) so a bit dubius about applying.0 -
got declined by aqua
will try again in 6 months0 -

two to three credit searches in six months is fine, any more and it's time to hold off for a while.
A lot of people who ran into trouble with Capital One have been re-accepted as a customer, some whilst they are still paying off an old cap 1 default!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Hi
I received a letter in the post ( a standardised one) - to say I had automatically accepted for Vanquis. Fill in this form and send back ....
Does that mean I will def get a vanquis card or is it just a marketing tool?0 -
If you check the working it probably says you've been auto accepted to apply for a Vanquis cardCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I applied and sucessfully got the vanquis card a couple of weeks ago, so today I thought I would apply for capital one, a message came up at the end after the 3 green ticks saying they needed to do some additional checks and would contact me in 7 days. Is this a bad sign? lol
