Are you getting commissions?
Seriously, I have no idea either - I don't know how a trace should impact applications (should not be for the person), or what a default's effect is for Sygma. So far it looks like they rely less on the size of the history, but if it's short, it sill influences the credit limit, and the variable APR.Enjoy the silence...0 -
Try Aqua and Vanquis. Getting loans is going to be hard, and you'd have to check they let you repay early. I wouldn't bother to be honest, having a consistent repayment history on Cap1 and any other cards will be good enough. I had no credit, got a card from Natpest and paid it back every month etc - this then led to me being accepted for Capital One in November (I was only 18 in the May), and Aqua a few months later...
thxDoing this will probably make your score worse. Even if you were able to get several loans in a comparatively small space of time, which isn't possible, this will generate a picture of an unfavourable customer being indecisive and inconsistent with credit.
You're better off just having a couple of sub prime cards, bank account, and mobile contract on your credit file and leaving be.
Being able to successfully maintain the status quo credit wise is where it's at
k ty.
My end goal is to be able to get a large mortgage (500k+) as soon as possible, somewhat irrelative of my proven income...
Any advice on how to go about this?0 -
is it safe to come out0

In my halifax banking the "application pending" thing has gone (where I clicked it and it said it was referred, and then eventually came back saying decline and has been like that ever since). Does that mean I can apply again? Pretty sure it's 6 months now. It was the very start of January I applied, so 7 months

Morning all!
Checked my CRFs yesterday and they're FINALLY clean (or as clean as they could be) with correctly satisfied defaults etc..
Brief history:
BR in 2008, discharged 2009. All old balances show satisfied with correct default dates so they'll roll off in the 6 years nicely. BR shows discharged but obviously still on file.
I have a Barclays current account and a Cap One card with a £400 limit so I'm getting some nice green marks from those...also plenty of green from old accounts that I didn't default on but they're no longer active.
I've applied to Vanquis a couple of times in the past year, got a flat no both times, perhaps because CRFs still weren't clear??
So .. where to next? I dont think I'm Sygma ready just yet but where/what else should I be applying for? Aqua? Another shot at Vanquis? Catalogues?
Cheers all!
