I know it sounds silly and I know it wont solve all my problems.
Well I'm married, and believe me it doesn't make it all better. I won't lie it does help some times, but other times it makes it worse! The thing is this illness comes from inside of us, so it is only by working on that that we can make it better, no one can make it better from the outside.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

I wonder if it's the same person? I'm seeing the doc again next week so I'll ask. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
 Listen guys, I've really enjoyed talking to you all tonight but I got to go to bed. Kids will have me up early tomorrow.
It's been refreshing to talk to others going through similar things.
See you tomorrow if you're around.:wave:Keep Calm:cool: Smile, Enjoy!

Night Jen
Judi - yes I agree, has taken me a long time to realise that buying stuff doesn't solve my problems. I used to think if I just had this that or the other I would be happy. But that is not how it works in reality. You feel happy for about 5 minutes, then you are back to how you were.
Hence the reason that I am so much in debt!Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
Maybe we should start up a depression / anxiety thread somewhere where we could all meet to chat when we need support? Not sure where it would go on the site tho.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

The materialistic thing is interesting. I was guilty (in the past) of over-compensating for feeling that I was worthless by making an "extra" effort - presents, taking people out, cooking for them. You name it and it never worried me that people didn't do the same for me.
Not any more - can't afford it for one thing! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
