Thats it exactly. I don't think anyone really likes me and I always seem to put much more effort into friendships than my friends do, so I feel that they don't like me or want me around. On here it is so much easier, people just accept you.

minnie spender you are not alone. i am confident in work dealing with all sorts of people, but in my personal life it's not the same. work collegues don't believe me when i say i very shy really. i supposed i'm a good actress!

Judi - it is easy to put on a face. People at my work don't believe I am depressed as I always put on a smile and inject loads of enthusiasm when I am working, but it is all an act. In reality I want to sit in a corner and cry all day, but I work with children and I don't want my illness to be affecting them.

God, that is just like me! I've been called a real ball-breaker at work and I just storm into work as if I rule the roost. But get me on a personal level and I'm toast.

Minnie - I've been told mine is leaving the service and so have to wait for someone else to be employed.

Thats how I feel, i think what makes it worse is i've been single for about 4 years and long to be in a relationship with someone.

I know it sounds silly and I know it wont solve all my problems.

jen & flis this is exactly how i feel. my oh is very outgoing and makes friends wherever he goes but i don't seem to be able to. even all the mums at school ask after him, not me!
