Don't do housework during the week - mornings are for drinking coffee and reading FB/MSE before I drag my carcass to work

I guess it's different for those who work FT, I do mine during the week so I don't have t do anything on a Sat and Sun is one of my working days.
I can highly recommend ASDA antil dandruff shampoo as an excellent toilet cleaner :rotfl:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Spendy Elves are hard to tame. My current issue is online shopping - I don't have to go out in the rain and it's nice to get parcels in the post. What I have found is working at the moment is filling my online basket then closing down the webpage. I have no idea why it's working, but I feel better once I've looked at the things I want and not bought them
I do the 'fill the basket then close it down' thing too! It just goes to show that it's the act of shopping itself, rather than owning the final product, that is so addictive. I've done it so many times in the last couple of weeks what with the Debenhams, New Look and Dotty P's sales. And you feel virtuous when you close the web page down!
I too have housework to do... and got to do some school work ready to go back on Monday boooo

How on earth did you discover that????
OH has terrible dandruff and he usually uses Neutrogena (sp?) but there was one month we couldn't really afford the fiver for the bottle so I got him an ASDA one instead.
He didn't like it so I let DD 'play' with it and she squirted it down the toilet (and all over the floor!) but when I flushed the toilet it wouldn't go away. I scrubbed it off with the toilet brush and flushed again and I had a lovely sparkly toilet bowl :rotfl:
I normally use Vim though :cool:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Ten minutes away from the PC has done me the power of good...
- I now have fresh coffee
- 2nd load of washing is in the machine
- Toilet is clean(er)
- I am 75p richer having foiled Mr Fresian's attempt to murder the washing machine with small change
- the cat litter is now changed
0 - I now have fresh coffee

morning F_F
haven't been on here for a while, so just popped by to see how well you are doing with the 'debt free by thirty' - if you're not going to make it by December, is it just January ish, or haven't you worked it out yet.
Spendy, crafty elves were my downfall. I am not never ever never buying craft stuff unless its something I really really really need, for example I downloaded some Hebrew wording for cards for a friends wedding rather than buying a stamp that I'll probably never use.
Love the stamps on your blog.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

I haven't worked it out yet...shall have a play with some figures!0 -
Well, according to the Snowball Calculator, I can be debt free by December.
I suspect the Spendy Elves will be the deciding factor0
