    I'm back!

Englandshire was fab, although quite chilly. I also realised on my way to the office today in the rain that my shoes have a hole in them. I think I might have to buy more sturdy ones - £8 New Look ballet pumps will not last the winter :(

I have managed to last until payday without major incident...I even still have £10 in my purse :A I'll do a little money update in the morning, once payday has landed (Thank all the gods!) and was quite chuffed to get some cash today that Mr Fresian owed me. I have sent £20 of that to my credit card and £50 towards next weekend. I'm keeping as much money as possible back as I have to be a Better Budgeteer. If I over-budget I can always put the excess somewhere else. Under-budgeting is bad!

    How is everyone else doing?

    Payday!:j

    PAD/Spends - £225
    Groceries - £170
Entertainment - £180.27 (Night out and craft fair)
Christmas/birthdays - £110.42 (Must find list and see if this is enough!)
    Outstanding loan - £594.11 :D:D:D:D:D

Outstanding credit card - £468.57
I have to return £115 worth of clothes though, so that brings it down to £353.57 which isn't that much and makes me wonder if I need to balance transfer this or if I should cancel the Post Office credit card. Thoughts?

In terms of the loan, I'm going to be making a payment of £128 to it anyway this month and next, which would bring it to £338.11 so I might PAD to the credit card this month and clear the loan next month. That would make it quite likely I could still hit my debt-free target.......!

    Hello!
Nice to see you are back at work already after your op, are you feeling the benefit of it now and feeling a lot better?
I know you have been saying you have been a spendy Fresian, but oh my goodness, look how well you have done really. Re your c/c I'd be tempted not to bother doing the balance transfer but to try and pay what you have off as quickly as possible - I think it would encourage me more to pay it off sooner to not give Tesco any interest, whereas if I had a zero percent I might not throw so much at it. Look at your loan though - A M A Z I N G !! Well done.
I was so annoyed at myself yesterday when I checked my bank £61.99 had come of for McAfee for a year for 3 user licence! Gggrrrr, I forgot all about it, when I did it last year I did it through my son's name and email address to get Quidco so of course they had emailed him. It says I can cancel up to 60 days after but I am so lazy I prob wont bother, i was annoyed at myself though.
    Have a good weekend.

    Hiya!

I was thinking the same thing. I actually thought the balance was closer to £500, which is why I was thinking about doing a BT. I think paying this off over the loan makes sense for the next couple of weeks. I'll pay any PADs into my Credit Card Spending account then make a payment at the end of every week. That should sort it out! I have £10.68 in my purse left over from last month, so will put that towards the credit card as an additional PAD today :A

I am feeling a lot better now. I'm thrilled to be able to eat what I want instead of being really careful all the time, but am trying to stick to a more low-fat diet as I really felt the benefit of it and have lost quite a bit of weight (Over 2 stones!)

    Lunchtime spends -

£2 on lunch (Hadn't been to the shops this week so nothing in to eat!) but I did go for the healthier option - brown bread with chicken (no mayo) lettuce and sweetcorn. Yummy!

£29.99 in New Look on another blooming outfit for this night out. If this one fits I'll be happy though and won't change it for another one :D

I did return some stuff to River Island though, so that's £75 back on the credit card and the balance going down a little. Woo!

Good news on the budgeteering front...

I have combed through my wardrobe and decided I'm going to wear a dress I already own. So far, the only costs are going to be for a shrug to keep me warm (£10 in the New Look sale) and £5 for some bracelets, also from New Look. I may need shoes to match it, I'm hoping to get away with not having to bother :D

That leaves me with £165 for next weekend and some other nights out. I can do it - 'tis a frightful amount of money to spend really...
