I ended up leaving the house yesterday and spent £22 or thereabouts in Morrisons. I did get four bags of shopping though, so I thought I did very well. I went quite late in the day and got lots of reduced bargains including doughnuts for Mr Fresian (19p) and Warburtons bread (19p) I'm glad I've taught Mr Fresian not to look at the "Use by" date on cheese anymore - I rarely buy it in date
I have a load of Ebay posting to do today - I just withdrew £21 from Paypal, although some of that will have to cover the postage.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

Big pain in the butt I forgot about a parcel yesterday and couldn't be bothered going back for it - wishing now I had gone back for it.

I'm nearly as exciting - £1.28 on kitchen roll :rotfl:
For those of you who are my friends on FB, I'm about to post some pics of the trip North. You won't believe how good the weather was!!0 -
Morning all!
I'm back to work today after nearly a month off - not looking forward to it but I'm sure it will all go fine!
Money stands at:
PAD/Spends - £28.28
Entertainment - £11.76
Groceries - £8.51
Purse - About £3 and some fluff
Outstanding loan - £657.57
I'll be able to post a more accurate figure about my credit card at the end of the month when the balance transfer has gone through and my friend has given me the money for her half of the London trip. I'm beginning to accept that being a Spendy Fresian has meant I am unlikely to be debt free in time for my birthday, but by goodness I'm working on it!

I've transferred the "spare" money from my bills account into my Entertainment account now. I have a night out in Glasgow at the end of the month that I need money for and am also going to the craft fair, so want money to spend on pretty things there
Myself and Mr Fresian also have a family event to go to in Newcastle (Two sodding days before November payday...grrr) so I need to keep money back for fuel to get there too. Nothing is cheap at this time of year!! I'm going to do some sums later on and try and work out how I can afford all of this. Expect a dull money post later!
Have a good day all

I currently have the following money hiding in the wings for assorted expenses....(figures approximate as online banking is misbehaving)
Entertainment - £71 + £50 come payday = £121
This is to pay for my night out in Glasgow, something to wear for it, any other nights out that month (one this Friday and one next week already arranged...) and the rest will be hidden away for London.
Christmas - £80 + £25 in October, November and December = £155
I already have about half of my presents arranged. I also have birthday presents to buy for my brother, best friend and another good friend before Christmas. I am off to London with my best friend for our birthday though and we've agreed on little token gifts only.
So, the budget I'm planning for this month is....
Assuming my wages are the same next month I will be getting just over £1300. Anything over £1300 will go to the loan repayment account. The rest will be split thusly:
Groceries - £170
Christmas - £25 (as above)
Entertainment - £50 (as above)
Bills - £830
PAD/Spends - £225
That should hopefully be more than enough for the month, especially as I'll be getting £300 rent money too. I'm going to be really naughty and allocate £100 of that for frittering at the craft fair.
Off to watch Spooks now. Wahoo!
