Confession Time:
So, I went to Costco and bought many awesome things, then went to Morrisons and bought yet more food. We're going to be fine until Doomsday at this rate! Here is the full breakdown:
Costco:
Chicken - £6 for five massive chicken breasts. Split a huge pack with my friend
Tinned tomatoes - £2.50 for six tins
Lint rollers - £4.99 for eight (Bargain!!!)
Cat litter - £14.22
I was also a very Bad Fresian and bought a paper trimmer/guillotine combo. That was £21.14. It's awesome though so worth every penny
Morrisons:
Many things bought, and too dull to list! Total spend there was £35.28. I'm a little annoyed though - fajita kits were two for £4 so I bought two but only just realised that two kits cost me £7.34 :eek: They must have had the more expensive kits beside the offer ones :mad: Do you think you can return fajita kits??
Right, off to transfer funds about to cover all this spending!

Definitely return the fajita kits. Morrisons are ALWAYS catching me out doing things like that.Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
I'll take them back today then, really annoyed about that because the bigger packs were above a price which match the pre-offer price. Bah!
Not a huge amount planned for today in terms of moneysaving. I bought enough food yesterday to enable me to make my own lunches all week, so in theory today should be a NSD.
I'm about to go and strip the chicken carcass from last night so that we can have something creative with leftovers. Not fajitas as planned though :rotfl:

I might be mental, but I think that with winter coming and nothing better to do, Flylady might help the state of the house. Here's today's list:
Monday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Level One
Declutter the floors
Vacuum decluttered floors!
Tidy coats and shoes, put summer ones away for next summer or in the bin or charity shop bag as required!
Level Two
declutter and dust the tops of any units and dust ornaments
Wipe the sofas if needed or wash covers as required
Wipe and water plants, dust and deweb
Declutter and wipe fire surround
Level Three
Check house for draughts and make a plan to plug them before it gets REALLY wintery cold!
Hang pictures/mirrors etc that you have had for AAAAGES and not got round to doing yet!
Empty and clear out a cupboard or drawer..
Extras- HHI or HHC doing some task you ALWAYS put off!
- binbag dance
- Wipe the skirtings and window frames
- empty and wash out bins and fill coal/kindling baskets as required

You are mental!
In this place decluttering the floors would take a fortnight. As fast as I clear a bit of space the four legged fiend fills it with an upended plant pot dragged in from the garden or a chewed up log or a dead something or other extracted from the cats jaws.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
You are mental!
Although I have gone nowhere near the Flylady list this morning, I have hung up yesterdays washing, done most of the dishes, stripped a chicken and put a second load of washing in the machine. That's more than I normally do on a Monday morning! Mr Fresian normally does the hoovering so I'll leave him a begging note and hope he does it!

£7.34 refunded by Morrisons for the fajita kits
They gave me cash instead of putting it on my card though, so I have made an additional PAD of £7.34 to my credit card :A
Current money situation is:
PAD/Spends = £167.66
Entertainment = £138.13
Groceries = £114.04
Purse = £13.13
I've printed off my inventory and stuck it in my diary too, in the hopes that this will help when I go to the shops. I have budgeted £170 for the month, but would love to have £30-£50 leftover this month. I'm feeling hopeful!0 -
