The view looks really nice, Did Sir Fresian enjoy himself aswell?
We both had a really lovely time, the hotel was fab. I never did figure out where the swimming pool is but I'm sure I'll find it next timeI'm a little peeved at how much money I spent, but at the end of the day it's not every day you get to celebrate spending 10 years with someone, so it was totally worth it! I will be a very good budgeteer next month, honest!

My only spend today was £24.16 in Morrisons. I mainly got good deals (Bread for 50p, woo!) although Mr Fresian resisted when I tried to buy the (35p cheaper) purple milk. Apparently it tastes like water, although I don't notice any difference at all.
We should be fine for everything this week apart from milk, bread and fruit. I won't need anything else until next weekend hopefully.

Time to depress myself with the daily money post...
PAD/Spends = £37
Groceries = £33.64
Purse = £18.25
Outstanding loan = £964.53
At least the benefit of doing these daily posts is that I can see the loan slowly going down every day....!

Loan is doing well

I really wanted to go to the car museum but it was closed, it has some of the cars from films/t.v programmes.
As for finding the pool...you should have asked someone
Did Scraps fit in as nicely as you had hoped?

A pretty quiet day yesterday - did a lot of housework with Mr Fresian. The house generally looks better for it but our bedroom still looks like a bomb has hit it - a project for the weekend I think!
I finally plucked up the courage to check my credit card statement - I "only" put about £60 on there while we were away, which is actually better than I thought. The balance is currently sitting at £270ish, but I need to do an expenses claim for about £180 of this, so it is definitely possible to rescue it. Must fritter less!!
I have ordered the boots I loved from M&S which have been delivered (although not on Saturday as promised!) Mr Fresian is going to collect them for me and if they don't fit I will return them. I'm tempted to return them anyway - they're not an essential at the moment and I think I'm being sidetracked into being a Bad Fresian again. This will be the first month where I'm only going to get my new salary, no overtime, so I have to get used to only spending what's there. There isn't any money coming from anywhere else....
In other spendy news, I'm off to Leeds today for work. I'm meant to be going on a night out tomorrow night with some colleagues but have no money and don't really have a lot of options for things I can eat at the Chinese buffet they have booked, so might opt for a night in the hotel instead. I'm going to see how I'm feeling. I'm not really up for a tour of A&Es across Englandshire
I don't know if I'm going to have net access, so if not have a lovely week and I'll be back posting on Thursday

£60 on your credit card is not too bad! Could have been £160
Picture looks amazing, I'm only just catching up! I think the next holiday we will be having will be 2020....
Enjoy your week away, even if it is for work!xI'll get there!0 -

Bah...found receipt in purse for £42 for diesel and drinks bought on the way home. Can't have gone on to the credit card yet. I did think that £60 wasn't as high as it should have been
Expenses claim lodged for £175ish, so that should be in my account for Friday, bringing the card down to a more reasonable level. No spends so far today, although I will be buying some food in M&S to eat on the train to Leeds - I'll try and keep it to a small spend though. Quite annoyed at myself for forgetting to take a book with me - I'm going to try and pop into somewhere cheap like Bookworld before I hit the train station. I'm not paying WH Smith £7 :rotfl:0 -

There are 6 days until payday :eek:
I'm glad to be home again - travelling about is fun for a while, but I miss my boy a lot and I'm running out of clean pantsOne of the better things about my trip away though was meeting up with Intergalactic Floozie and playing some bingo. Sadly we won naff all....next time we'll win the jackpot! I'm trying to engineer a visit back again in October :A
Right, time to get ready for work (Bah..)
