Morning all!
Hope everyone is doing ok out in internet-land.
I'm off into hospital this afternoon for my operation, so currently ramming as much toast and coffee into myself as possible before my cut-off time of 11.00
Not a lot to report really. I'm Bad and Spendy, but have stopped beating myself up about it as it seems to have stopped me thinking about hospital! I do have to spend more money today - I need a dressing gown as the only one I have was taken over for use as a cat bed and isn't fit for public useI'm hoping that I will find something in Tesco for not much money.
Beanie and Moo - I'm going to send your things today or tomorrow. Don't worry about sending money for postage, it's payday tomorrow :j I've made you both a wee card too, hopefully you don't think they're too naff!
I have my parents coming down today as well as they wanted to be around while I was poorly. I have no idea what they're going to do apart from get under my feet to be honest, so this morning is going to be spent tidying/cleaning in preparation for their arrival.
Have a good day all!

You really are superwoman. Can't believe you're contemplating visiting the post office the day after surgery unless this is one of your many parentla avoidance tactics in which case you are to be congratulated for being organised enough to have worked out how to get rid of them for a bit of peace before they've even arrived. Hope all goes smoothly with minimum pain and maximum opiates.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

I posted your and Beanie's things today. Only second class though as I'm cheapI am due for check-in at half three and should be out, according to my patient factsheet, at half ten tomorrow morning. Parents scandalised at me being turfed out so quickly. I think that given the cleanliness of the Bupa-goodness I'm probably going to come out in better health than ever :rotfl:
Now officially bricking it though. Humbug...

Have arrived at hospital. Very clean, everyone very professional.
Doesn't make me feel any better about the fact that I'm currently wearing paper pants :eek:0
