    I hate Virgin Media.....they seem to think we should only be allowed internet access between 3am and 10am. I woke up and it was fine again, but I don't know how long it will last :mad:

    So, very quickly...!

    Money

    PAD/Spends = £263 (Gave £10 to Mr Fresian for night out)
    Groceries = £64.10 :eek:
    Purse = £1.79
    Outstanding loan = £973.54

    I might have a NSD today - I don't really need anything, and there is no reason for me to spend. If I can be ersed going to town I might look for the Boots of Wonder from M&S though :D

    Otherwise my only plan is to go to the movies with a friend. We went to see "The Girl Who Played With Fire" last night, which was excellent, although Swedish filmmakers don't seem to like to leave anything to the imagination - sex or violence! Today it's lighter fare....I think she mentioned Jennifer Anniston :eek: I think I'd rather go back to depressing films :rotfl:

    moo2moo - PM received and details noted. I'll be in touch tomorrow :D

    Money

    PAD/Spends = £206
    Groceries = £57.80
    Purse = £9.20
    Outstanding loan = £967.24

    I've had an eventful couple of days - another attack of gallstones saw me taken to hospital in an ambulance when I was away from home (Boo....) and have been eating nothing but fruit and water since Monday :( In happier news, I also took advantage of my trip away to meet up with moo2moo which was fab - she's a lovely lady and we had a nice wander around the streets of Chester on my lunchbreak.

    Money is looking ok, but we still have this holiday to pay for and the £206 in my PAD account isn't going to cover it all. I think I'm going to have to whack it on the credit card and repay that when I get paid. I have been spending money like water recently and need to become Frugal Fresian again. It's hard though when I'm away from home every other week. I can claim money back for things like lunches and dinners, but still have to spend it up front first which is messing with my budgeteering :D

    In good MSE news, I have been downloading the free audiobooks from Audible this week. I hope I will be able to get the Danny Wallace one on Saturday when we come back from the Lakes though.

    In bad MSE news, I have spent money on things I don't need for cardmaking (BAD!) but I'm hoping to practice my skills, such as they are, this winter when it's dark and miserable and then to hopefully get good enough to sell them. I bought things from the Madaboutcards sale and got some cardmaking magazines for 25p each :j Hopefully they arrive soon, I'm looking forward to it!
  • Just a quick post to wish you a happy holiday (o.k - a happy couple of days away!)

    Hope everything goes well and you guys have a lovely time!

    Happy Anniversary!! :)
