Morning folks,
Well, I had a really lovely day yesterday. Work was madness as I ran around trying to get everything done before I finished but most of it's done (Apart from one pretty major thing but I'm going to do that tomorrow when I go in for overtime...!)
My friend was staying last night so she didn't have to faff about with trains and we'd made plans to have a bite to eat at Frankie and Benny's so went there after work. She very kindly paid for me in advance of my birthday next week, which was lovely of her and very unexpected.
We had a lovely evening talking total nonsense and then came home and played Monopoly which I haven't done in ages (Mr Fresian won't play with me because I'm quite competative) so that was great too. A lovely night all in all.
Pennies
PAD/Spends - £17
Entertainment - £121.79 - I took out £20 for dinner but didn't spend it. Going to use it this weekend as I'm meeting up with a friend on Sunday.
Groceries - £62.50 This account is holding up nicely. Mainly because it's been too cold to go to the shops
Purse - £30
Outstanding debt - None
ISA Savings - £54
Virtual Sealed Pot - £23.64
I've also been paying money into my Sealed Pot pretty much every day, so I think that's probably growing quite well too.
I think I might be breaking in to some of the ISA money this month as I need to get Brother Fresian a Christmas present and also really want to get my eyebrows sorted out by a professional before I go to London :rotfl::rotfl: I do have quite a lot sitting in the Entertainment account though so will put the Eyebrow Taming on my credit card and pay for it before payday from whichever account has money in it.
In theory, I won't need a lot of money for London. We're paying for dinner with Tesco vouchers mainly and the theatre/hotel is already paid for. I'm hoping to get away with spending less than £60, although I might spend a bit if we hit Oxford Street.
Right, need to get myself fed and dressed now then I'm off to wish my bestest friend in the world a Happy 30th

A bit of a thaw I think.
I am pondering the great escape today.
Really need stamps & to go to the bank & go for bits n bobs.
Cant keep asking other people.
Sure I have an Edinburgh edition of Monopoly :think:I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I love Monopoly but nobody will play with me because I am too competitive as well so I am always up for a game :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Glad the thaw has started and the budgets are looking good.

I have made a card for my friend though and it looks very good too, even if I do say so myself! Next plan is to get in the shower then I'm going to try and get to the supermarket before she arrives here so I can have milk to put in her tea :rotfl:
