However, I won't tell you that I ate a whole packet of weight watchers carrot cakes on Friday :eek::eek:. what? Isn't that part of my 5 a day???

DH and I have started our fitness regime. We do have a boxing bag that we put up in the garage and we're going to take the daily frustrations of life out on it. On the plus side, I have also done 15 minutes of Wii Fit (yay for the daily Wii Age thing telling me I have the body of a 24 year old :D ) and some separate cardio work - jogging on the spot, etc, and feel thoroughly tired but good on it. Tea was a far more healthy prawn stir fry with loads of veggies, and any bread eaten today has been a decent wholemeal. :) I've only managed one small chocolate bar so I feel proud.

Keep up the good work, everyone. (((hugs))) Marrowgirl - I know just how you feel.

I'm back from holiday and very pleased with myself what I ate-no rubbish at all, and no weight gains. But I have a wedding to go for in 3 weeks time and I would like to shed 4 pounds before-so for me back to the breakfast diet-cereal for breakfast and lunch and dinner with OH.

Well done Blue Monkey on losing so much weight already, you're doing well! I've lost 2 stones in the last 2 years and I'm only 4lbs away from my ideal weight but it's so hard to get rid of the last bit.

Today I've cycled 30 min to get to the gym (next to work), than did a 45 min Power aerobics class. I had porridge for breakfast (40g-plain) and porridge for lunch (apple and blueberry). Dinner will be roast chicken (one small drumstick), boiled new potato and green beans with spinach. I try to have a 1250 calories a day and no snack at all. I will have a pear and a satsuma though after dinner.

I will stop snacking, I must, I must!

Right, I've made it through today without eating bread, crisps or chocolate! My first day in forever where I didn't eat any :D Plus, I've drank a litre and a half of water so far and I've done 15 minutes on the Wii Fit. From where I checked it yesterday it told me I'd lost 3lb so that's a bonus.

Tea tonight is spaghetti bolognese, made with a shedload of veggies (onions, mushrooms, peppers and spinach) with no extra oil added when browning the mince, far less pasta than normal and no cheese on top or garlic bread. :)

As a wanabee skinny (THAT will be the day!!) the things I find that will fill me up are meat & 3+ veg. What I mean is a normal portion of meat/fish cooked any way and a plate full of veg (no potatoes!) even a side salad as well. This is NOT a cheap option! If I feel fairly full then I am not tempted.

Lots of luck and try not to berate yourself if you do sin.

I have found that swimming 4 or 5 times a week really helps- maybe not to actually lose weight, but to become toned.

    Mini update:

Today has been a good day. No naughty Cs have passed my lips. I've maxed out on fruit & veggies and even managed a little Wii workout.

Now I am off to bed (with a smug look on my face). :D
Hope my fellow [STRIKE]sufferers[/STRIKE] dieters are ok. X

I've had a small bar of chocolate today, and also a white pitta bread. I've not overeaten and filled myself with snacks though :D

    Tomorrow will be better
