I failed miserably on Saturday. I fancied a packet of cheesy ball crisps and after ignoring the craving for ages, I gave in and went to the little Tesco near me and you've guessed it got a packet. I will say they were lovely.
Yesterday was a lot better, I ate lots of fruit and veg. So fingers crossed I can stay focused for the rest of the week? [insert confused smile!]
Good luck everyone.

Morning
Lol at the cheesy balls!!
Didnt do too bad over the weekend as far as food is concerned. Did have another white roll yesterday though, but no crisps or chocolate. Drank far too much though and feeling very tired this morning.
Managed to do some excercise though, took the dogs out for 30 mins Sat morning and we went for a bike ride as a family Sat afternoon. Also took DD swimming Sunday morning.
I feel better for not having the crisps and chocolates and an really hoping I can keep it up.
No walk up Pen Y Fan tonight (thank god!) just a walk along the coast and a BBQ with the kids in work. I can handle that!
Hope you all have a good day and will catch up tomorrow0 -
Hi Bugbabe and everyone, long time lurker on these forums but taking the plunge and posting.
The gorgeous sunshiney weather we have been having is spurring me on to cut out all the rubbish I've been eating and hopefully lose inches in the process. I'm just back from food shopping and there are no nasties in my basket this time, lots of salady stuff, fresh fruit, no crisps or choccie or ice cream, I am quite proud of myself!
I'm also hoping that my OH will join me as he is always moaning that all we buy is junk and that he is getting fatter. We bought a cross trainer last month, and I'm promising myself I will go on for at least half an hour each day. We're off on hols in 2 months time, and although its probably too late to slim down properly in time for that, I wanna at least make a head start.
So today, I will go on my cross trainer for at least 30 mins and not pop to the corner shop for any choc or crisps or biscuits which are my downfalls. Depending on how energetic I'm feeling later on, maybe an evening walk.
I'll stop rabbiting on now, hope you all have a fab day! x

Wow, this is the kind of thread that I need.
I tend to eat a main meal each day then snack all day (joys of having a 1 year old DS) So I will be good!! Its payday on Wednesday so me and OH will need to work out a healthy shopping list cos he needs to lose 2/3 stone too.
I do excerise though. The gym twice weekly, zumba once a week and body combat once a week.
Need to cut out fizzy juice too.0 -
Welcome Candyapple and Nikki2804
Nice to have you on board.
Confession time. just had a small plate of chips . Never mind, onwards and upwards eh?
Havent done any excercise today either so a pretty bad start to the week. Going to pull myself together tommorrow.
Cant decide if I am going to weigh myself or not. In the past, when I feel like I have lost some weight and then get on the scales and I hevent lost any it really sets me back. Should I just go by my clothes? And surely if I am feeling better about myself then it shouldnt really matter what the scales say. Would be interested to hear what some of you think about this.
Going to try hard this week. I am going out Friday night to a charity Do for Cancer Research and want to go out feeling good about myself so I know if I keep away from the big Cs then thatll help.
Good luck everyone for tommorrow x0 -

Have a good day everyone x0 -
I have failed spectacularly on both crisps and chocolate today. Tomorrow. I promise. I've been fairly active though and would like to think that helps.
Keep up the good work, Bugbabe

Well I feel like I haven't done so badly last couple of days, although yesterday I did have a snickers flapjack but in my defence I didn't buy it (as if that makes a difference!
), but I've been super good today. Food shop went well despite OH flinging milkybar yoghurts and choc mousses into the trolley, which he has already disposed of and I didn't touch, so well done me. I have lots of fruity bits to snack on so I should be chocolate and crisp free for the next couple of days and take it from there...baby steps.
I'm off for a cross trainer session now while Corrie is on so that's my exercise sorted for today too.

Eep I have just eaten half of a large dominoes pizza plus wedges. Oh well, I did do an hour n a half sesh in the gym though. Balanced lifestyle?
Started using Gillian Andersons 30 day shred. 20 min workouts. I can see a difference but man is that woman EVIL!!! The routine is dead easy to follow though!!0 -
Well I was good and bad today.
Good because I did my 20 minute intense workout and an hour swim.
Bad because I had a creme egg.
Im starting to enjoy the exercise although I realised that im a cack swimmer!!0
