Hmmm i wonder if this offer will still work on tuesday for a wednesday delivery.

That way if they put the steak pies back in the meal deal, ill be placing another order. On changeover day for deleiver on the last day of the wine offer.

I've got an order coming this evening. They always ignore my substitution requests, so knowing my luck, I'll end up with an order of about 3 items, or tons of inferior-quality substitutions at a much higher price.

3x steak pies
2x steak au poivre
1x veg n spinach lasagne
2x chicken breasts with bacon n onion
1x creamy fish pie
3x margarita pizza
3xcheesecake
3x millionaire tart
6xchardonnay
2x 15 pack tennants (for hubby couldnt justify gettin all that wine for me and nothing for hubby) £16 for 2
guide price 69.95 less 5.50 for delivery

Really tempted to do this, but worried about them substituting the 9.99 wine for something cheap, hence making the saving not as good!

How does the whoile substitution thing with discounts work?

I ordered loads of different items and im worried that if just 1 is substituted that effects the meal deal pricing bug time and ill have to over pay.

Not fair, I dont have the steak pies on my list. Or any other dinks choices. Cos i know you can add 6 packs of glass coke bottles.

On the new version site theres a lot more choice but it wont allow me to add any codes.

If they substitute an item for something not in the deal, you will have to pay full price for everything.

This happened to me and I gave everything back and got a refund.

1. This definitely does work in store.

2. The '25% on 6 bottles of wine' deal is not excluded from the 'Finest Meal Deal for £9' deal.

3. NB. Careful to choose the correct wine, which may well be in the Wine section of the supermarket and need picking up from there, rather than it be in the 'Finest Meal Deal for £9' section. If packets are missing or wine is missing, then ask an assistant to merchandise and do a top up the shelf sections.

4. NB. Choose the wrong wine and you might blow this deal. Perhaps the best excuse if that happens is to say at the till, "Ooops! I appear to have forgotten my credit card and haven't got enough cash" - or whatever.

5. And don't forget to get 6 deals in total (ie, 12 Mains) so that you get 6 bottles of wine and thus also get your 25% off the wine that is included in with 'Finest Meal Deal for £9'. By doing this you get roughly £15 extra discount for the wine (being 25% on the 6 bottles, at about £10 per bottle, or 25% of £60) to be taken from the £54 of the total cost (being 6 deals at £9 per deal). If you don't buy 6 bottles in total, then you don't get 25% off the wine.

The perfect shopping deal to go for here, ends up costing you about £39 for

12 mains
6 desserts
6 bottles of wine.

You get about £144's worth of shopping for a mere £39.

Love to give it a go but my tesco's only stocks 4 of the mains items so will give it a miss.

I had a job finding the wine in store and has to ask an assistant for help - she said they aren't allowed to sell alcohol in any other part of the store now other than the designated alcohol areas so that's why the wine is separate from the food bit now.
