Mine got delivered this afternoon - three mains missing (2 x steak pie and 1 x lasagne) but they didn't put in any substitutes so total came to £44.99 so still happy.
Only problem is - hubby took the delivery while I was out - by the time I got back, he has now gone out and I can't find the wine!!!!
Don't know what he's done with it!! The food is all in the fridge but the wine is no-where to be seen.0 -

Thanks very much for this OP.
We went into our local Tesco and bought 12 mains, 6 desserts and 6 wines, savings were nearly £68 on meal deal and £12 on wine.
Also, I asked at the checkout if they accepted coupons, so I handed over almost £3 in vouchers.
We have a fully stocked freezer, not sure how long the wine will last though!

Well problem solved. :T He was working night shift last night so didn't speak to him till he came in this morning.
He put them in the garden shed. As you do!!!
He said he couldn't think of anywhere else to put them so they wouldn't be in the road, after all we aren't going to drink them just now. Imagine me not thinking of that.0 -
We had to clear out our freezer completely and re-stacked everything to accommodate all these meals. We already took advantage of this offer the week before (not with the 25% though), so had some of these in the freezer previously.
As a few have already mentioned, the calories from the meals alone are very high, so not a good thing having these meals on consecutive days.
Lucky for us, we've managed to cram everything in. If only we had one of the double door American fridge/freezers.
We already are down one bottle of wine. Only another 10 to get through. Could do with a wine rack for these.0 -
Many thanks to OP, I went down to Chadwell Heath store to get some nappies, thought I would give it a try, they had hardly ANY mains, so I just pick up the 2 I wanted, there was only 4 on the shelf!!
They did not have the more expensive wine with the deal, so tracked it down in the wine aisle, it wasnt asvertised, but i went through without any problems
As they didnt have any other main dishes, I went off to Collier Row store, and everyone was stocking up on their BBQ bits and beers, but I managed to get 6 deals, some half price england nappies, a jar of Dolmio, all for the grand sum of £44 and odd pennies!!
Well it is my birthday next week, so thought that not treating myself and not having to "cook" proper meals was called for lol !! That should last the family for dinners for the next 6 days, so many many thanks OP. Just dont tell hubby about the calories lol !!0 -
Just had my delivery - 4 subs which meant that my order came to 81.00 instead of the expected 49.00. I've sent the lot back and apologised to the driver....
It would have been excellent if it had worked!0 -
For everyone who are getting subs, what are you entering on your checkout page if anything?
Whenever I place any orders, especially BOGOF's and meal deals, I always put a note on the product to either replace the item with another in the offer, or if there isn't another item/flavour, not to substitute.
I never had a problem with any deliveries in terms of letting them choose what to replace the out of stock item with.

What money did it knock off? If the glitch had been fixed then you should not have been given any money off at all with what you bought.
I took a printout down to the store of all the things in the offer so I could find the right wine in the wine aisle. I almost slipped up by picking up the wrong Finest chicken.
It looks to me like you may have got the wrong wine. At my local there was only Yaldara at £9.99 and Isla Negra at £8. There was none at £8.99.
Hi ! The wine was deffo in offer as it was all together in one section with the food- I double checked I got the right food and wine (so I thought!). When it went through- by rights I should have been charged £9 per meal- so for 2 meals it should have been £18. I was aware that to get money off the wine you need to buy 6 bottles. TBH, I just wanted to see if I could get the extra main instead of the side dish. However, I was charged £29 I think instead of £18!!In order not to be out of pocket I had to exchange the 2 extra main dishes (which were all the same -kievs)for side dishes at C.S. and she gave me £11 change.I assumed it was an overcharge due to me having 4 mains instead of 2 mains and 2 sides ( meaning the glitch didn't work for me). Have no idea why it didn't work as I know a few people who tried putting the odd meal through just to check it worked-but am very pleased for those who have managed to get the bargain-well done and thanks op!
Anyway, am very pleased for everyone it HAS worked for!:):hello: SHARING THE LOVE (OF A BARGAIN) x0 -

I left a note on all 24 items for them to be substituted for something else in the offer if they were out of stock and the 5 subs I had were substituted for items not in the offer.0
