I'd rather have my car and spend the extra £10'000 on fuel/tax/repairs/holiday/family/etc etc lol

I'd love to use my bike for work, but I'd struggle to fit my tools and ladders on it
    That's just lazy

I was considering the latest Octavia diesel est, the one that has 4 wheel drive as I do a fair bit of field crossing. Anyone got one driven one???? :j
I know a couple of former BMW 3 series touring owners who now have Octavia Estate VRs diesels and they don;t feel at all short changed.
Great cars, just got to look past what the badge used to mean.

0-62 in 14.3 seconds on a torquey diesel. No ball of fire but about average for a mid-low engined range small car.

Octavia 4x4's are ok. They feel very stable, if a little under powered. Great cars though. We get em in every now and then :)

What are you talking about? My first car was a VW Jetta 1.6 petrol and I doubt it would have had much more than 75bhp and it was no problem whatsoever on a motorway.

Granted but it certainly doesn't make it dangerous on a motorway.
