What I find shocking is that virtually all the bad feedback relates to auctions which ended only a maximum of 7 days ago. Seems a bit like a witch hunt or mass hysteria and assume that the seller has met some misfortune be it health or other. Will be interesting to see the outcome.0 -
What's a hacking? That's not been mentioned before.0

Amazombie, I understand what you are saying, which is why I wanted to reserve judgement.0

Hacking is where an unauthorized person gains access to a computer and or account, in this case an eBay account. Have you heard of spoof emails? These are fake and are made to look like they are from an actually company e.g. eBay/PayPal. They ask people to update their account or something similar and contain a link to a fake eBay/PayPal login page. If a person fills this information in the hacker gets access to the persons eBay account.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
are you saying that someone is trying to hack into my account or the seller's?
I think I did get a spoof email (prior to this auction) as they asked me to re-enter some details or they would suspend my account with ebay. i ignored it.
Computers are brilliant when they work well and the bane of our lives when things go wrong.0 -
No, no one is trying to hack into your account, don't worry. I think Laura meant that the sellers account could have been hacked.
You did the right thing by ignoring it. In future if you get any spoof emails from eBay just forward them to spoof@ebay.co.uk and delete them.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Whats the panic? The seller does say delivery within 10 days - its not even a week yet and it was a bank holiday weekend too!
TBH the guy could have gone away on holiday, be ill or anything. Really people are so impatient it they can't wait the 10 days specified. If they don't turn up then complain.0 -
Ok I was going to give hime the benefit of the doubt, but take a look for yourself!

I agree its a bit debateable, but then if you notice all the negs have been for auctions won the 26th and after before seem positive. The guy does say 10 days. Lots of the negs are from a handful of buyers.
Personally I would wait for the at least 10 days - I still think there is a good chance the Guy is for some reason can't access his PC or his emails.0
