You are worrying way too soon. If you haven't heard a bean after 2 weeks then look into it further.

Thank you, I will wait and see, but I am concerned that he has not replied to 3 emails I have sent him.

It's not a lot of money even, but it's the principle.

May be he is ill - been rushed to hospital, has had an illness in the family. May be his computer has packed in. There are a million reasons why someone with previous good form might suddenly disappear...

I would agree with you on that but...his username and general setup indicates he is a 'shop type' rather than an individual, and he has sent out DVDs to other people in the last few days whose auctions had closing dates on and around the same date as mine. Perhaps he has been inundated and is working through them (this is what I will choose to believe)

I do want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but...

Yes, you've made me feel better. I am such a cynic (sp?)
I think I was spoilt by the other one being so fast.

OK now I am worried! Just checked this seller's feedback again and OMG!
There are about 18 negatives posted in 24 hours.

All from buyers of DVDs like me. I think I can safely say I've been had. What should I do? Leave my own negative feedback? Can all of us unlucky bidders take this futher?

Just refreshed the page and another 4 or so negatives. This seller has been registered only since JUly 06 and has 8 pages of feedback already- all quite good till now. Why all of a sudden? He is there as there is 1 green amongst all that red, (although buyer said "nice shoes..." when the item was another DVD actually)

    This sounds really iffy now.

What do people think? Should I open a new thread do you think? Can we warn people or is it too late?
  • Don't leave negative feedback just yet. Wait a little longer and then open a dispute with PayPal to hopefully get your money back.

What does the negative feedback that the seller has received say? Is it for non-delivery or something else?
