Isn't it free to withdraw cash over £50 from paypoo?

Or is that what they took from the amount the buyer paid in?

You have to pay fees with a Premium account (needed to accept Paypal payments made with a credit or debit card).

It's only fee-free for basic Paypal accounts.

If you can't handle the fees then ebay is not for you. Those fees are not that bad, you don't need the gallery and paypal is an optional method of payment.

Then don't - you do have a choice. You might not get as many bidders though, so you might not get as good a price... Swings and roundabouts really.

Well don't use paypal and then decide if their fees are worth it!

I think you will find you more than cover your fees in increased prices.

Tis the way of dealing with Ebay. How else do they make their money?

Is the gallery fee for the picture or is that free?
  • The gallery fee is so that your picture shows up when an eBayer performs a search. To add one picture to your listing using the eBay picture service is free.

I dont use paypal only accept payment through cheque, postal order and bank transfer and yes it does limit your buyers but i must admit 89% of the time my 'stuff' goes for more than i ever thought possible anyway, i think it depends on what you are selling too :)

a picture is free gallery is so buyers can see your picture before they click your item (on the left hand side), again is worth it with some item but not with other :)
