Chesse and beans on a baked potato, delicious and filling.
Mashed beans with fried onion and a bit of chilli flakes for a pate (from my veggie youth)
You can also rinse them and use in place of other beans in any recipe.0 -
Add in a teaspoon of curry powder, 2 tablespoons of barbecue or brown sauce and grated cheese to your taste to ordinary baked beans and heat through to melt the cheese into the sauce from the tin. Makes even value beans into a luxury savoury supper, best served on toast.0

If you have a Morrisons nearby they are currently doing 4 tins of branston beans for £1.19. Not sure how long the offer lasts for but they certainly had them yesterday.

Cowboy pasties - soften some chopped smoked bacon and onions in a pan, add beans and a splosh of worcestershire sauce; take off the heat and add some cubed cheese. Cut some circles / squares of puff pastry and use to wrap spoonfuls of the bean mix; brush with milk and bake until golden.
Or mix with chopped peppers and some chilli sauce and spoon over cheese on toast - one of my favourite quick meals.Back after a very long break!0 -

Put them in soup!
You can make a really delicious soup with a few veggies (onion, carrot, celery, diced potato), a tin of tomatoes, a handful of dried macaroni, some stock, a bay leaf and a few sprigs of thyme, and a tin of baked beans in tomato sauce.
If I'm going with the more traditional way of eating baked beans, my favourite treatment is to fry up some onions first, add beans and a splash of Worcestershire sauce, heat through, and server on toast topped with grated cheese. Mmmmmm.0 -
I like black pepper and a dash of cream with my baked beansOver futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0
