This is going to sound odd, but mix them with sweetcorn, heat them up, pop them on some toast and then grill some cheese on top.0

My other half loves bean and sausage pie and I use 2 tins at a time.
Layer cooked sliced sausage (or you could use links if you fancied) on the bottom, top with tins of beans and add pastry on the top and cook until the pastry is golden brown. So simple and he scoffs a whole pie in one go!!!Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011

I add a tin to my shepherd's pie to bulk it out- I think it makes the sauce really rich. I also add them to my chilli- either instead of or as well as kidney beans.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator 0 0

Yum, I love beans. I add chopped bacon, mushrooms, onions, peppers (basically any leftover veg in the bottom of the fridge chopped finely) with some garlic, herbs, lots of paprika and some barbecue sauce. If there's a leftover sausage or two from a previous night's toad in the hole, that goes in as well. That as a topping for a jacket potato is absolutely lovely! I call it melee beans 'cos everything goes in!

Ditto - bought 12 when the 4 packs were on a 3-for-1 promotion and now they're just occupying space. I just can't force myself to eat them. Maybe once I've run the freezer down...asparagus1968 wrote: »i know they won't go off but am sick of looking at them.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
