would imagine that was a typo in the invite :rotfl:

No it wasn't, I received the same email.
They were looking for people to complete a survey on their smart phone so I was rejected but online there was a further 25p survey to only be done on a smart phone.
Hope they are not moving to only smart phones as I complete on a PC and find them a regular source of £10 vouchers.

I spoke to VO back end of last week and they were adamant on the one voucher policy at Argos.

I have received a reply in writing from Argos to my query on this subject.

It's a bit ambiguous in that it says "there is no restriction on the vouchers being redeemed against a transaction at store and this is a company policy that all our stores will follow" however it follows up with "we do have a limit of £500 that can be purchased on an Argos Gift Voucher".

Is that contrary or is it saying the maximum value of a voucher is £500, but multiple vouchers will be accepted?

    Hope this helps.

I see that some people are able to use more than one voucher at Argos.

Has anyone managed this since the weekend? I spoke to VO back end of last week and they were adamant on the one voucher policy at Argos.

If so, it would appear that there is inconsistency/confusion with the retailers and VO which needs addressing.

It isn't much use for VO users ordering vouchers that cannot be spent as desired.

    Hi

I put this question to Argos by email a few days ago {see below} and although I have never had a problem in the past using multiple voucher codes in my local store.

I have multiple voucher codes from a survey site and would like to know if I can use them to purchase items from my local store and pay if full with them or am I restricted in the amount I can use for an item? eg; if I want to buy an item costing £100 can I use 10 x £10 vouchers or am I limited to only using one or more for the item and need to pay the rest with cash??.
The reason I ask is that I have read that with some companies that issue these vouchers for Argos you can only use one per item required and I do not want to try to get something only to have my voucher codes refused at the shop.
I look forward to your reply.

    Regards
This was the reply I have had back.

    Subject: Voucher Codes

Thank you for your email regarding your voucher codes.

These voucher codes are limited to one per transaction.

So it looks like they are trying to stop multi codes being used and if that is the case I will not be using them in Argos :0(

Are the Argos vouchers different to the standard Argos Giftcards some sites issue?
I used over £200 worth of £10 Argos "giftcards" from a survey site on 13/07 with no problem.

To be honest I do not know, for many years I have been doing surveys then get either a Argos card or an Ecode for them and have used them without any problem in my local Argos but seeing the other poster stating there was a possible problem I asked Argos contact us help section and that was the reply I got.
As I have not tried in the past few months to get anything I know it needs to be checked but I would hate to be turned away at the till when trying to just use the Argos ecodes to buy an item.
I know that the items I like to buy are not cheap {£50/100} but I do not believe it is fair that I can get the codes but COULD be refused at the shop when trying to use them.

Or maybe not going by the reply I received after contacting them in the same manner.

I think so, some people have mentioned printing off their Argos vouchers. Whereas the ones I've had have always been little cards that come in the post.. wonder if that's why there's some confusion?:(

I was accepted. The survey was to do with what appears to be location based surveys completed through your smartphone (presumably using the GPS position on your phone). I doubt if I'll get many that way as I suspect this type of thing will be biased towards London & the South East but every little helps. Oh and I don't appear to have been credited with my 1p.

Pity there isn't a Valued Opinions rep on here to answer these questions as Argos don't seem to know! :(
