Budget - tougher for DLA claimants

A harridan as a nurse was I? May I suggest my patients preferred me to look after them knowing they were being cared for by a professional who would always make sure they received the correct medication, actually knew how to use all the equipment and could interpret the results. Were never left in a soiled bed, I insisted the cleaners did a thorough job. Patients were actually fed and I knew my job inside out. The handholding stuff I would leave to the families. You all want the matrons back. That's what I was.
I still receive Christmas cards from patients whose lives I helped to save. How many people have you successfully resuscitated when they have had a cardiac arrest?
Anyway sticks and stones etc. Like water off a ducks back
Clearly i need to spell it out to you!
If you dont need it then cancel the claim, its not up to you who gets it, once you have cancelled the claim to money you dont need then just maybe you can come on here and spout your nasty little comments about other people, until then you have no right to judge.
We only have your word for how much you were liked, although from your spite filled posts on here, i expect they were all terrified of you, unless of course it is old age that has caused a change in your manner?
Like i said, your poor poor husband!0 -

easy to see she is bitter, and feels the need to bully and belittle people who are disabled, but also is the kind of person, who would not say it to your face.
funnily enough i thought her husband was having an op today,so shows how much care is being given, considering as she has not been off the comp all day.i came into the world with nothing, and guess what? i still have it!!!:p0 -
i dont think they do reduction surgery on the nhs anymore and i definatly couldnt afford it. i would have them smaller as they do hurt my back.
i also wasnt cursing the bra from any other point of view than have you ever tried putting one on one handed, or with a dislocated shoulder. also because my boobs are bigger they are heavy which makes putting the bra on harder to do. i often have to get othe people to fasten it at the back for me.
its a good job my neighbour is my sister, not so lucky after hydrotherapy with a male physio lol0 -
I just cant stand the bitterness and the constant digs at SH, i have had a medical for DLA and recently had one for ESA , both by ATOS, and both the medicals proved that i was entitled to the benefits i receive.
I have absolutely no problem with people claiming whatever they are entitled to , if they need it, but to brag that she only claimed it because of something said on here to prove she could get it was disgusting, and then to say they dont need it, and give some to charity...words fail me!!!
Her husband if he is in hospital is thankfully getting a break:rotfl:0 -
Many things can't be proved either - as a result of my condition, I see objects move (this is reocgnised by RNIB & Nystagmus Network) - this can make walking up and downstairs dangerous. At a medical, there is no way that can be proved.
Don't I know that one! I get visual hallucinations of that type along with voices and periodic bouts of verbal dysphasia (the hallucinations due to my BPD, dysphasia from fibro-fog) - I can't show them the hallucinations, and the dysphasia is sporadic, so it's impossible to prove it happens unless it happens in front of them. That's part of the problem, isn't it?Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -

friend had hers done on nhs because of back problems no harming in asking next time your at gp0 -
jennie-jack - missed your posts before somehow - I can completely sympathise on the bra front! I am currently 38FF, never go below 36D even when my weight fluctuates, and it's almost impossible to find a decent, comfortable, pretty bra, even from Bravissimo - they only have one style I can wear thanks to the combination of fibro, dislocating shoulders, Marfanoid ribcage deformation and the irritation from the edging. Thank goodness for Freya, say I...
As for reduction, I've wanted one since I was a young teenager - I was an H cup when I was 14. I've had back pain for years from them even before I developed FM, but was told to wait until I'd finished growing. Well, I've finished growing now, but still cannot have them reduced because now I have fibromyalgia and it would be a greater risk for lesser benefit.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. So with you! I can't put mine on at all when I wake up with a shoulder even the littlest bit out of place (as happens a lot!), and since I live alone and all my neighbours are male, I just have to manage without, which doesn't do my back much good.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Please stop this garbage now, or clog up the anals of MSE with useless polarised crap. "Never the twain shall meet" is a phrase that springs to mind, and that's a fact.
Stop freakin arguing and get on with your lives. People will worry about these medical, and that's a fact. The fraudulent cases because they may be caught out, the genuine one's because they may be overlooked.
What happens will happen, in the meantime people will worry regardless of what any keyboard warrior says :mad::mad::mad:Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her.
