Here is my past comment about what I did (the money was back in my account sooner than she said it would be as well :jgoldengirlno13 wrote: »Exactly the same thing happened to me!! the money has been coming out since November and I didn't notice till this month!!!
I called 0800 028 8251 and helpful girl told me she would cancel it for me and request a refund but told me if I wanted to call the refund people direct I should call 0845 672 2002.
I called them and said I had called the 0800 number and been given their number, told her I wasn't aware that I had signed up for anything and was upset that this money had been taken without my knowledge. Straight away she offered to credit me back with 2 months and said that was the best she could do.
I figured 2 months was better than nothing but thought I'd chance it anyway. I told her I had read countless forums where people were saying the exact same thing as me and that they had all been give a full refund so I wanted to know why I wasn't being offered the same. She said it was the best she could do but could I hold. Of course I said yes!
She put me on hold for hardly any time at all then came back and said I would see a full refund on my credit card in 10 working days!!! :T
Good luck to everyone else and remember to let them know of the different forums of people who have had a full refund0 -

thanks to this message board or i wouldn't have known what to do.

Exactly the same here. Something like £250 so far.
Following the advice above I rang the number. It was answered by a delightfully spoken German girl (Natalie) who was so charming it was almost worth the £250 to speak to her.
After a couple of 'Putting me on hold to talk to her supervisor' the offer came back as a six month refund.
I have refused to accept this and asked calmly and patiently to speak direct with her supervisor. As we are at the end of their day he will ring me back on Thursday.
I thanked Natalie for her help and she giggled "Usually people just shout at me"
Will report back on Thursday

I noticed that they were taking money from my account the month after I placed my order - they took £4.75 out twice in a row. I never hit 'sign up for VP rewards' or anything similar but recall doing a post purchase survey - I have now read on a number of internet blogs that Vistaprint sign you up to something when you take the survey. (By the way my feedback on the survey was negative about them as the quality of the products I received was poor).
There are loads of negative blogs about Vistaprint - just google it.
What I did: (and what I would advise all to do is..)
1. Rang my bank who cancelled my card (hassle) and they will do what they can to refund the money
2. Emailed Amazon outling the serious fraud being carried out by their advertiser and how damaging it is for their reputation. Effectively what Vistaprint are doing is theft.
3. Emailed Vistaprint about 8 times - I don't think any will be replied to but at least its action.
4. The Vistaprint CEO is Robert Keane in the US. There is no available email address for him but he is listed as an alumni of the prestigious INSEAD business school - and they have an email address. Bombard INSEAD with emails with the nature of the complaint and ask them to forward to him!
Strangely, the CEO does interviews saying how wonderful his company is. Interesting angle.
I have considered turning up at their "office" in Edgeware but I am guessing it's just an empty....?
No phone number works for them and no emails are answered. The lesson here is - NEVER ever deal with a faceless organisation. If a company purposely do not provide contact details then caveat emptor.
Go pay a small local printer for your business cards, invites etc - you are supporting the community not lining the pockets of a trumped up CEO in the US.....and it will probably work out cheaper in the end as no scams or robberies are attached (these local guys give lots of options with regards to types of paper and print - this can work well and reduce costs).
USE Vistaprint at your peril - don't say you haven't been warned. Plus they got my order wrong and added on VAT extra at the end ie when i had input my card details. Sly stuff .......0 -
The telephone number posted on here for vistaprint dosent work..
The new number that works as of SEP 2010 is 0800 496 0350
cant find this anywhere on the web
took me 15 mins to get this number of vprewards as he said they didnt have the number etc.. i think they just try to keep you on the phone for as long as they can so you die of boredom before they give in.. so unhelpful its unreal...
ive got to wait a week for vp to get back in touch through email to see whats happening.. so i think they have changed how they go about refunding ppl since the first posts....
vprewards say you have to get confirmation of vistaprint before they give you a refund.. even though its them who are stealing your money... asked to speak to a superviser ..but they were all busy on the phone..(shock horror)
really wanted to jump through the phone & pull his teeth out
hope this new number saves you guys some time...
have a good day0 -
