  • Vistaprint did the same to me: I have had to cancel my card with my bank and I did not click ok to this offer when I bought items from them but they still joined me up to this reward .

You must have done, it tells you at the end of the order, you order is complete, something you may now press next, then underneath states doing so signs up up to the rewards, yes it's sneaky how they do it, but it is written there on the screen, the problem is most people just press, next, next, next, or OK, OK, OK without reading on the screen what it is they are OKing or Nexting to.

It's the final OK where you think you are confirming OK again to the order as that is all done.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

  • Hi Nellis,

just readhey tell me to write to your post just after complaining to my bank about the very same thing! My bank say they cannot do anything to stop them taking however much they want to!! So they tell me to write to VISA DISPUTES, PO BOX 200, DELPH HOUSE, SKELMSDALE, WN8 6NY

I think the banks should and could do more, best advice to everyone STAY CLEAR OF VISTAPRINT----AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO STAY CLEAR!
  • Sorry Nellis, part of the text got lost somewhere. Just read your note as I finished reading my bank account and saw I have been conned by Vistaprint as well, they do not respond to e-mails or phone calls.
  • I just noticed the same happened to me, so I phoned the no above and a v. helpful lady explained what had happened but when I said I hadn't signed up to it she cancelled the account and said the money will be put back in my account. No problem, so to anyone thats cancelled thier cards, dont bother just ring vistaprint.
  • Just spoken to the lady at Vistaprint and she has agreed to refund 6 months money. I am ashamed to say that they have been taking this payment for the last 8! - lesson learnt and now resolved to actually read my statements from now on. If I want a complete refund I would have to write in but I will accept the 6 months. Although it is very sneaky the way that they got me to sign up, at the end of the day I didn't read the terms enough and clicked the yes button.

I am told that the refund will take 7 to 10 days - let's wait and see.

Same thing with me, i now won't use VISTAPRINT again.

I quite happily use VistaPrint, have done so for years, but then I read what's on the screen when it states to click to continue and sign up for Vista Rewards.

 Vistaprint has really ruined my day! I ordered some business cards for work in December and they my work gave me the postage money back only to find that they Vista I signed up for monthly membership and those darn cards have ended up costing me £30! Ive spent a whole day on the phone and ended up at my bank disputing the payments of £9.95 that have been taken out  . I have just rang Vistprint and they have agreed to reimburse my money and cancel the membership. I hope they do before I blow my top!

A lesson learnt? Read before you click?

It is a shady way of doing business though. But I always read what I am clicking for.
