I think the KwikFit concept is good and if senior management got their fingers out and stopped the trickery they could provide good fair service. I took my car to the local branch for service/MOT 3 years running with no problems at all. 4th time, customers and staff were all waiting outside for over half an hour for the manager to turn up with the keys. He tore up in his car and said he'd overslept. No doubt the day's appointments were disrupted. They sold me a tyre on the basis that it had got an MOT advisory for a nail in the inner sidewall. I took their word for it as I didn't think an MOT tester would try it on. However, the service was obviously rushed. The air filter housing screws hadn't been tightened up after changing the filter. Vast quantities of a white grease had been messily squirted around the rear hatch and doors hinges. Worse, a wheel trim was badly scratched. Must have changed the tyre with it still on!
Won't be going back this time.
Lack of consistency seems to be their problem.

I would avoid KwikFit at all costs.

I used them a year back for some repairs on my car to pass it's MOT, it was the worst place I have ever been too for my car!

Not only did they not have the correct spanner size to do the job, then tell me to go and get it or they would have to put all the hubs back on, but then they damaged a wheel sensor causing £250 worth of damage having to get it fixed.

They are cheap for a reason, the cheapest is not always a good thing, I wouldn't risk using them for a service, specially if you don't plan on getting another one for a while :)
