Neighbours damaging fencing and trespassing.

I'd go with the prickly plant idea....
Berberis isn't poisionous from what I can see - reasonably cheap, I've never been able to kill it off and it is seriously prickly (from experience)

I'm sure that our noise making doesn't give them any right or justification for damamging our property, or entering without permission, they are totally seperate issues, only one of which I asked for advice on.
I take it you comment refers to me.
So far you have:
Kid fetching ball from your garden, with help of parent, that could of damaged your fence but you weren't in at the time.
You have erected CCTV that as far as they know captures what they do in their garden & does otherwise you wouldn't have a picture of who lifted the kid over.
Noise of building work up until 7 pm even on weekends if you feel like it but try to give them a break.
& unfounded allegation of rabbit hutch opening.
& some music being played for reasons which you say is an attempt to get you back at making loud noise.
By the way. None of these were my words.
Edit added later because I had to eat my dinner
Option 1: Tell the police
Option 2: Tell the housing association/council
Option 3: Mediate with the neighbour which will include the above
Option 4: Buy a spiky hedge & keep filmingNot Again0 -

If you read my post fully (which I have, as I wrote them!)
it is not 'just' them getting the ball from the garden, it's the damage the ball does when kicked against the fence too. Us being out doesn't make our garden 'open house' to whom ever wants to go in there.
I did not accuse them of opening the hutches, in fact I specifically said that I didn't know it was them and that I knew others cone into our garden, abd THAT was the reason for putting in the camera-to find out who it is.
I also said that the camera only records when movement is detected in our garden-no movement, no recording, if he hadn't put his kid over the fence he wouldn't have been recorded (how he feels about it is moot anyway as he is unaware if the camera)
The noise of our renovations is reasonable, we don't stop to 'give them a break' we are busy, working people, unlike them, we stop because we are knackered, beleive me, I'd love to work on it 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and get it finished, but we don't gave the energy, time or money. But none of that it as all relevent to the fence problem-as far as I'm aware being noisy fir a few hours doesn't give someone the right to trespass and and damage property.
The loud music is retaliation, we often overhear loud conversaions, ment to be overheard, saying how they will have a huge party that night because of some hammering in the middle of the day. But again, only mentioned to illustrate the attitude they have to others, and not at all relevent to the topic o was asking for advice on.
For someone who advises people read the posts the wrote themselves, perhaps you don't seem to read them properly yourself. Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!1
