Anyway, let it go eh.... let's move on.
I think you need to look at the tone in which you write things. It is you that was rude, both to myself and AnxiousMum.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Dmg, all I said was, "what are your circumstances"? for some reason you took it the wrong way, maybe if it had been face to face, and had a wink after it, it would have gone over better, I know I meant nothing by it, but clearly it offends you to be asked about yourself.

my husband goes to work and pays tax and our bills- that is what makes me different to lazy people who choose not to work. We are ok with living on a low wage so that we can bring our kids up the right way
If you are getting so much help in the forms of tax credits and WTC then I think it's worth pointing out in the 'debate' on this topic that you probably do get more than you put in, which is fine your husband is working, but it is hypocritical on your part to label people on benefits lazy!
On another point, be careful when suggesting that working parents are not bringing up their children the right way, because they do work and use childcare, while it's your choice to do that, it doesn't mean it's the only right way!0 -

Not my current role, but that is quite close to something I have done in the past!

What we seem to be forgetting is that the laptop is for the kids as required to do their homework. Why should they, the innocent ones in all of this, suffer?
What is so wrong in having it paid for by the state if it helps them in their education? It doesn't matter if the parents can afford it or not or should work longer hours. My opinion - all kids should be given them regardless. They are our future generation and need all the help that we can give them.0
