    Morning flyers,

In the District Sports yesterday DS2 came 2nd in the 100m in a time of 13.26. he was beaten by .05 of a second. DH has been on line and has found out he is 38th fastest in the U13 category in the UK. Not bad as he is in year 7 and some of those kids are up to a year and a half older than him.
:j well done to your DS. Friend's of ours daughter is a sprinter, she is the double world youth champion

    Been to work

Jam made :T very slightly overset (but still spreadable) but after making 'sauce' last year I was erring on the side of caution.

Big boys out at cricket (Lords 20/20) so just me and DS3. He can chill for a while whilst I get changed and get the washing in.

I have been busy today....went to the shops this morning to take back a dress I bought that was too small and got a few other bits instead. Popped into instore and got a DVD rac for £11.99 for DD's room(they were in little boxes but DD was getting lazy and putting the discs in without finding the case, now she will have to put them tidy...in theory!!). Came home from shops assembled the rack, took it upstairs, put all the DVD's in, flung the boxes, hoovered under where they were....realised it was a bit too high for where I wanted it.....pulled the toybox out, hoovered under that, put toybox in place of rack and vice versa. Went to work. Came home put new potaoes on for dinner, made a salad, ate and cleaned up, did the school run and delivered some leaflets for the school fete. Came home, tidied the book shelves and video shelf, cleared out the bottom of DD's wardrobe and have a few dressing up outfits for sale. Have put chicken on for DD and she is now sorting out under her bed......

    It's looking better already

Cold drink now and a catch up with you guys xx

Have stripped the bed and thats in the wash. Hospital appointment went well. Spoke to mums care manager. She has also noticed mum becoming withdrawn and not talking much. She is not interacting socially either now. Plus her sight problems are worse. When I go she feels my face now and hears my voice to know its me.

Going to do some shredding and some paperwork while decluttering a cuppa.

Hi all, I'm still here, haven't even looked at the list till today though :o

Got fed up at the weekend as the kids cause a huge fuss and strops over just laying the table for dinner let alone asking them to do anything else, and OH hasn't done anything housework wise since Feb (he used to clean front room, hall, bathroom and kids room). So now it seems they expect me to work full time, do all the cooking, make every cup of tea they request, make their toast in the morning, food shop, do clothes washing, and do all the cleaning - and now because I'm trying to get them to clean up after themselves and getting sick of it, apparently I'm "moany"

On top of that OH asked me to help do his cleaning job at the weekend and then moaned about the way I was doing it.

So I'm pretty much on cleaning strike and only going to do the bits I really feel like or the bits that really annoy me, and then we'll see how long it takes them to realise how much time I spent each day when I was apparently "watching telly ALL day".

Meals this week are everything with chips cos I can't be bothered, and pasta at the weekend cos why should I cook and clean all weekend while they all sit on their buts and watch tv!!
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

Soappie, they are lovely....I would love to have a couple of chickens but lack of a garden and an overexcitable pooch makes it a no-no.........enjoy them (and their eggs, when they are big enough!!!)
