sorry if im not siding or agreeing with a few of the posters on here but regardless of all the crap he has put up with thru the years he still has a legal obligation to support HIS daughter!

ive seen posts on here when NRP's grudge paying this and that and PWC's jump straight down there throats! If contact was a problem the OP should have went to court for access, plain and simple

he basically has got away with years of not paying his legal obligation and now moans that he has to pay!

Im sorry OP but you dont have my sympathy on this matter, there are a lot other decent NRP's been shafted for years with the CSA losing houses etc but they (me included) just get on with it

think you should take a reality check!

problem being once nrp been shafted (and i say that because i have a lying ex and not because i don't want to pay)) by the csa they don't have the money to go to court and to pay for solicitors to be able to fight to see their kids....funny old world isn't it......

Stands to reason the OP's ex is bitter and twisted manipulating the daughter into not having contact with her natural dad until she is 18.

Hope you get it sorted with your daughter nurburgring and your ex's meal ticket will run out soon where as you can help out your daughter financially and emotionally when needed.

    Best of luck :)
Hmmmm. I haven't read it that way at all. I've read it that the NRP is angry that he has to pay for a few weeks that his now grown daughter is working her way through college whilst working in a fish and chip shop? I don't get the bitter PWC assumptions either, after all, who brought the daughter up on her own, and she isn't here to say whether she is bitter and twisted (sounds like she's done a good job if daughter is looking for a future and training/working, etc). I just don't think what the OP has said truly points to that.

More to the point, and I agree with Marky, he is saying he is angry he has been forced to pay now. Lets not forget, he hasn't paid anything for 16 years! (but we have)

Hmmmm, I must be missing something here! But, I'll call this thread a day. Hope the OP has had his questions answered.

Yes you are probably right but i see it from both sides though as similar to my situation. Pay money for access etc but no parental rights (that old chestnut) paid incompetent csa for years. My ex scummy mummy will get her come up pins just shortly.:)
Same point also if child doesn't know you after being round the houses trying for access you are easily forgotten about.

Things will change soon always 2 sides to a story and child is old enough to listen now :D

but he hasn't been shafted!! thats the whole point he has got away from paying for years, and even if he had been paying you can easily represent yourself in court or through Families need fathers group and a mackenzie representitive
  • i went to court for access and then again the ex only let me see my daughter on HER terms etc and soon it faded out.
the ones that are  with me you just dont get it do you?? im not bothered that i have to pay like ive said in a previous post had the ex of let me pay her instead of the csa she would of got more money and more help and when i seen my daughter i did give her money and buy her things as any other dad would do NORMALLY. i havent had the chance to see her cos the ex interferes and causes trouble now between me and my daughter so then my daughter falls out with me and so the circle starts again.
there is a lot of background etc which i dont really want to go into as ive said more than i wanted to say.
as for looking for sympathy thats just pathetic and that was NEVER my intention at all, i was just trying to check with her having 11 weeks off college which means she could work as much as she wants etc didnt mean to create world war 3!!!
those of you who have helped a massive thank you!!!

what u r missing here is contact and CSA liability are two different matters, u obviously think u r right in yer actions, u always had the option of putting the money u would have had to pay aside and spend all that on yer daughter
