do the English fans who have saved possibly for years and now spent thousands of their hard earned Great british Pounds not have the right to vent their frustration and boo one of the poorest displays I have had the misfortune to watch?The team as a whole were awful, once again heskey FAILED, once again Rooney didn't turn up, even Gerrard lost his bottle in a goal scoring position. The entire team has been built around Rooney, poor players have been taken to the wc in order to facilitate his style of play but the man himself now cant be bothered then has the audacity to complain about true fans booing them!! Cappello has made terrible decisions in his team selection and unfortunately leaving out Bent, Walcott and possibly even young johnson has dented any hopes of changing his style of play. Rooney needs dropped! Heskey needs dropped! our defence is terrible yet his only back up is King crock! Is this his way of ruining Englands chances? is he the enemy within? He has been found out as a one trick pony! Has no other options, bringing on SWP instead of Cole proves his Lack of ideas and not taking off Rooney is bordering on pathetic! Rant over!!

They are rubbish so far. I dont think I even want to watch the next match it will be 90 minutes of my life wasted when I could watch paint dry

Did you see the BBC news this morning, people were texting in with their disgust and making suggestions. The one that got me was one from a 9 year old boy. He said from now on he's going to be Supporting Spain.

The travelling fans aren't staying in 5* luxury at someone elses expense.

The Fans are paying a much higher price than any of the squad.

The most loyal of our fans are the ones who got off their a$ses, paid for flights and made the effort to be there for them... ABSOLUTELY THE FANS ARE ENTITLED TO BOO THE CLOWNS.

Algeria qualified to be be at the World Cup. (Unlike Scotland Re: comment by Preamle).
England players were stiffled by the Algerian defence, so you could say that Algeria played well. As there was no score, both defences were successful.
Rooney in particular was a disappointment. Almost every ball that was passed to him seemed to bounce off to an apponent.
The player with the best 'goals to England appearances' record is Crouch. He has a better ratio of goals than all the other English strikers including Rooney. So why is'nt he starting for England?
