I did have one OS friend but she moved away to a smallholding just this side of Wales

I can match you (just about) on five of those - and I'm sure others can too - but that says nothing about who we are, and it certainly doesn't make me think you are weird...different, maybe but that's not a bad thing.

Thanks Queenie :A :T :A I thought I was a complete lost cause. I've been feeling down lately (overdid the flylady thing and got meself in a mess), and now I've gotta catch up. Not easy without a friend to give me a kick up the proverbial. Justin wouldn't dream of it - he seems to think I can sit alone all day doing my nails/cuddling cats and not worrying about things - bless him.

no i don't. tbh i don't really have that many friends and the ones i do are as far from OS as u can get. they look at me like i'm strange when i say i enjoy cooking and sewing. so i generally just get on with things on my own and not bother to talk to anyone about it.i'm lucky my hubby just lets me get on with things, he likes me being OS as he gets loads of yummy home cooked food. but i do feel a loner sometimes as i have no one to share tip and hints with. apart from on this site. which is my saviour.

Hi Jo,

No I don't think you sound weird....... you do sound different from most people who often feel the need to conform. You aren't afraid to be yourself....I like/admire that in a person. I think you'd make a good friend.
