That is so annoying about the pushchair but at least you have found one you want and is cheaper, very MSE!

You are so organised with all the stuff you are getting. I would be the same though, would be so excited.

Hope you are enjoying your week off!

    Morning,

I got up and drive to my parents at 7.30am this morning on my day off!:( As the travel system is being delivered and nobody is in:D Kiddicare is really good its next day delivery and they email and text you to say what time its coming and give you an hour slot they will come at.
But as i wasnt sure what hour spot that would be until this morning i got up mega early just in case. They have now text to say it will be here between 12-1pm. So i will just muck about online here until it comes.;)

    Morning,

Im up early on my day off again:( Once the alarm goes off for OH i just cant back to sleep again. So ive put some washing on and had a tidy up.

The system came yesterday on time and i couldnt wait and got it out and set it up. Its quite long and i started thinking maybe i should of bought a quinny after all but when my mum and dad saw it they put my mind at rest that it isnt too long its the normal size. It fit in my boot no problem.:jBut i tried to fit the car seat and it wouldnt fit! The front seat wouldnt click back down as the hood part of the car seat was in the way. To which i got anoyyed and went inside and sulked. But now ive seen that i wasnt trying to fit it at the correct angle and i forgot i could move the back of the seat upwards so its not leaning back. I will give it another try today.

Im not sure what to do today, i feel so lazy to do anything really! Just enjoying my break from work is good enough for me. I will be going over to parents later as mum is there all day, so i may take her to town as i want to have a look in matalan and i dont have a card but she does.

Im finally upto £9.52 on my scracthy so not long until i can withdraw.

ahhh time for a sit down and glass of ice cold apple juice:D

My legs are aching but im not sure why i havent done that much today!

I done two loads of washing, whites on a proper cycle and then OH's black work tops on the express 15 min cycle:D so took them to mums and hung out on her line.
Then we went to sainsburys as a couple of weeks ago i saw they had convector heater reduced to £10.13 from £20. And we're going to need one in winter with baby and the rubbish eco 7 heaters we have. I used my nectar points and only paid £2.65 for it!;)

We also had a look around mothercare and matalan at the retail park...we didnt buy anything though. We were checking out the steralisers...i plan on trying to breast feed for a couple of months before then going onto formula. I would prefer a microwave steraliser as the bottles etc stay sterile for longer than electric but having a look at them there too big to fit in our teeny tiny microwave!:rotfl:So electric it will have to be!

I cant believe how fast this week has gone! I really hope next week at work wont be busy and hot.

The heater sounds like a bargain with the nectar points!

Did you manage to get the car seat in in the end? That is good that you like the pushchair.

I can't believe I missed your new diary! Sorry

yay a boy! Wont be an Ella then or a Lily lol. They were both choices for dd2 but OH didn't like lily either as his ex had a cat called lilly. Our boy choices were Dylan, Ben or Charlie (although OH wasn't keen on charlie as mad charlie was in corrie at that time)

I'll be back to catch up properly later, look after yourself

Hi YB welcome to my non stop baby babble!:rotfl:

I didnt try the car seat again but i will today im 95% sure this time it will fit nicely. Ive seen plenty of girls driving my shape clio with car seats in the back so it is possible!:o

I quite like Charlie but my OH doesnt. I did like Bailey until i read it a unisex name but mostly used for girls espically in the USA. So that soon changed my mind.

Well i actually had a sleep in this morning!:jI didnt go to bed until midnight as was watching Lee Evans. Normally these days i go to bed by 10.30pm...but normally lay there until late as cant sleep although im tired.

Ive got another lazy day at home today. Im avoiding all shops! I will only pop to my parents to let me dog out later as nobody is in today. So apart from that i will mooch on here and do the ironing.

OH's niece is called Bayleigh (different spelling). I always thought was a boys name though!

Hope you had a nice relaxing day.

Glad your having a nice busy week off work Maria. The buggy sounds nice. I have this thing about buggys, every baby shop i go in i can't help look at them and decide which one i'd like when i have a baby. OH always quickly drags me out though lol.

I quite like Landon, Ethan, Brody, hope you find a name you like soon.

Not long left at work for you, then 1 year off, how exciting!

I hope you're coping ok in the heat.
