Hi,
Im Maria 26 years old and just moved out of my parents house into a little one bed privately rented house with my fiance who ive been with for over 7 years now .:D
Best news of all is im just coming up 20 weeks pregnant on sunday! :A
Ive been on the here doing diaries for about 3 years now, at first i was a DFW. Ive been debt free for about 2 years now and like it that way! Im a housekeeper in a hotel so my wage isnt the best at all but so far ive got by pretty well as i have everything i want so im happy.:)
Anyway, im starting a new diary as my last is quite sad as i had a rough time after having a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks pregnant and my diary went a bit down hill from there really. 7 months on from that im now ready to start a new diary and hopefully pop by everyday. Here's a link from my old diary if you fancy a look anyway: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=2043325
I was hardcore into saving, using coupons, doing surveys, collecting vouchers etc etc so im hoping to get back into that way of doing things again.
Our aim is to move out of our rented house when the 12 month contract ends in May 2011. And buy our own house.:D
Anyway, i hopfully you wont find my babbling to boring!

Hey hayley! Glad you have popped in.
My due date is 7th November. The past couple of weeks ive been feeling wriggles and little kicks. Ive even seen a few kicks too, everytime i see one as say to my OH watch watch! And then...nothing! Always the way but he has been able to feel them on my tummy though. Its fab!
Postie has just delivered the council tax payments info at last! So now we can get up to date on all the bills etc so we can clearly see whats going in and out. I will type that up later.
Also ive had a new clicker through from shopandscan and if i send all my old one back within 7 days i will get a bonus 2500 points which is £2.50 in vouchers so very good!:D im on 7500 points atm after transmitting my barcodes today and doing my foodtogo texts im hoping monday i will have enough points to claim a £10 voucher.:j
Also i got paid my PC paypal money for doing surveys and had £12 there my account so ive just bought a new Bare Escentuals make up brush for £9 which i have needed desperatley since i washed it the other week and it went hard and too scratchy to use on my face.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! How exciting chick, a Scorpio baby then. That's got to be the best feeling in the world, feeling the wriggles and seeing the kicks from your baby. Do you have one of those heartbeat monitors? My friends who's also pregnant has one and they are just the best. Love listening to her heartbeat. Have you thought of any names yet? I love American names at the mo. Also for a girl i've always loved Freya, Eva, Maisy, Lilly is also lovely.
That's good the council tax info has arrived, funny you was just saying about it then it arrives.
I wish i'd kept up with shopandscan, it's such an easy way to make vouchers. I doubt they will let me have another, i was rubbish at updating last time and they got fed up waiting for me, ah well.

Yes i have a doopler there called, its on hire i only planned keeping it one month but im already into my 2nd month. Now im feeling movements i might send it back as i have kicks to let me know all is well now so im not using it as much. Ive actually put a video of me using it listening to babies heartbeat on my facebook!
I only have on girls name in mind at the moment which is Ella Lousie Nichols. When i find out the sex i want to think of a couple of names to choose from. OH's name ideas arent what i want at all. I keep on baby is having his surname so i should get to pick the first name!
I do like lily too but OH doesnt as he cant stand Lilly Allen and thats ho he thinks of when he hears the name.
Yeah i would deffo miss the vouchers if shopandscan stopped or chucked me off. I could do much better too with the texting as i can earn £5 a week from that but i always forget until monday when they credit you with the points.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Hi

Nice to see you back. Great news that you are experiencing pregnancy so positively as its not always easy getting bigger and all the hormones etc :A
How does it feel to be living with OH all the time now?
Take care

hey KM thank for popping in!

Now im getting bigger quicker work is starting to get a little hard for me as im still on the same job. Doctor said its fine to carry on doing my job as ive done it for years so my body is used to it. And well at least im getting some exercise! My petite size 6-8 frame has now changed hugely! Of course i new i was goin to get big...but i didnt quite realise my thighs and bottom would grow so much! lol, not good. My boobs have shot up from a 32D to a 34DD already and thats a little small for me too!
When we first moved in living with OH was a nightmare as he had 'man flu' and kept me awake at night with his constant horrible nose dripping noises. He cant blow his nose....dont ask me why not but he cant blow out of it..weirdo! so instead he has a constant running nose which his sniffing and well yuck is all i can say. 2 nights i didnt get any sleep so the 3 night he slept on the sofa! haha 3 nights since living together and he was on the sofa! hahaha. Now his better im having to put up with his snoring now! grr, i bought some ear plugs but they dont help. He never used to snore!
Apart from that hick up everything is doing good. The house is great apart from no central heating just storage heaters. The house is so so cold in the day as it also only has single glazed windows. Im going to buy a little electric heater to out on just for 15 mins when home from work just to take the chill off.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Morning
Ive just done a YouGov survey im getting close to pay out now im at 4600 points. I need 5000 for a £50 cheque! That will be nice...ive only been doing there surveys for a about 3 years now!:rotfl:
Im round my parents atm as just popped round to give dad his fathers day present. I spent £10 all together on some car cleaning cloths & a mit, dvd, liquorice allsorts and a cute card all from Asda.
I live just 5 minutes from Asda so very handy, although ive been driving everytime i go as i dont want to carry the heavy bags with my bump.
I was going to wash my car while here as its flithy but the weather doesnt look great so dont think i will bother! I cant believe its soon July and its cold!
Oh forgot to say my grandad had a stroke about 2 weeks ago now and is in hospital. He still doesnt have any feeling on his left side but can just about swallow mushy food. He keeps asking for jelly as he loves the stuff espically green jelly. But they wont let him have it as he might choke on it. I went to visit him about a week after it happened and it was horrible seeing him so helpless and he obviuosly couldnt talk properly which also made the visit quite uncomfortable as i kept having to ask him to repeat what he said.
Anyway, i should have a no spend today as i wont be going to the shops for anything.
Yesterday i went to Argos for a lamp, steak knifes and a mirror. Which i bought all with my Argos vouchers:D i even got asked ID for the steak knifes:rotfl:
Oh and my OH got home yesterday from his parents with a baby bath set and hooded towels from his mum. I wasnt planning on having a baby bath as we have a bath at the house and was going to use one of those baby sponges you lay them on. But this will come in handy while baby is newborn and then we dont have to fill the bath too much....werent on a water meter!:rotfl:;)
P.S. ive put my 12wk scan pic as my avatar..im not sure if thats allowed or not.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
You've been busy! The weather isn't great here either but I'm going to go outside soon as I've got some courgettes which are living in the conservatory that need planting out..
I hope your grandad recovers as much as possible, OH's nan had a stroke at the end of Jan and has only just been moved from the hospital to a nursing home last Monday. When it first happened her speach wasn't very good, but they gave her some exercises to do which did help a bit. Hopefully they can try something like that with your grandad.
I'm almost able to get £50 in vouchers from consumer pulse, I'm thinking of getting Argos ones too and stashing some house bits for when I eventually move. Either that or Next ones so I can get some bits for christmas from there. We're nearly half way to christmas again already :rotfl:.
You're doing well with all your baby bits, you'll hardly have to buy anything with all the stuff you've collected! Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Shiny new diary!
Glad everything is ok with baby, looking forward to finding out the sex. I love the name Lilly, and Ella is beautiful as well.
Lol for snoring, OH used to be so good, now he's just so loud, I end up sleeping on the sofa bed a couple of nights a week. He's actually seen a sleep therapist a couple of weeks ago as I was nagging him to get an appointment, they referred him to a nose and throat specialist as well as heart specialist, apparently his heart beats twice as fast during his sleep as yours or mine and that might cause the snoring. We're still waiting for the appointment, I hope he'll get it soon, I jsut wish he could have gone to the dr earlier. Apparantly snoring is very dangerous.
Will go and subscribe...0 -
Evening
Oh god i didnt realise how long my grandad could be in hosiptal for, i can see why though when he still cant even feel his left side. His had so many heart attacks and his normally in and out within 2 weeks. So it looks like he will be stuck in there for months.
I feel for my nan too as she realied on him to go out and get the food shopping as she had a fall in town a while back and since then she doesn even like going out. Luckily shes got my auntie living opposite to her now so shes keeping her company most nights and helping out.
kavics- isnt it horrible trying to sleep next to someone snoring! Although my OH's isnt that loud...yet! touch wood. His dad snores so so loudly when i used to stay over there i could hear from the next room and wondered how on earth my OH's mum could sleep.
I hope your OH gets his appointment soon.
Today i got my shopandscan points and was able to order a £10 Argos voucher:D
I did have a spend today £21 on food shopping. which included dog treats, batteries and a face mask though.
I still havent quite got used to doing the food shop properly, things keep going out of date in the cupboards!
So scan tomorrow!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I will let you guys know how it goes and hopefully the sex of bambino! Who has been very quite today! Hardly any movements. I moan when he/she is moving around too much and now im moaning its not!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
