Wish I got commission now lol. I was given the link by someone on here too for the same reason so anyone who wants it pm and and i'll pass the link on to the companies job application page. As I said I only worked with them for a few months but had no real problems, there was no initial outlay from me and I got paid on time each month which is the important ones

As I said this company just do texting not phone lines. The phone work is much better paid but I can text whatever I like with a toddler round my ankles or next to hubby watching telly, whereas I don't think I'd want to be on the phone talking dirty. The texts aren't all rude either, its just most of the conversations head that way lol. And you are occasionally a guy being texted by a girl too if that bothers anyone, or a gay guy, etc. My husband laughs his head off whenever he sees those adverts on telly now, thinking of me drinking a cuppa typing 'oh yeah babe i'm feeling so sexy' lol

I actually prefer the dirtier texts purely because that all those guys know what they are texting for whereas some have been texting for months (at £1 per text sometimes!) and seem to think they're having a real relationship with someone, felt a little uncomfortable to me.

Make up your own minds though. When you get the company name, have a little look round the net for info if you like, I did before applying. You'll get a mixed response about them but they are one of the few texting companies that will take on people without experience and definitely a good starting point, or easy income if nothing else

ps. edited to say I should point out unless you are willing to work many many hours you won't make your fortune frm this one. Its easy money but not necessarily good money (but much better than no money!)
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

:p would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing :o
  • You should have the info now. I had a lot of pm's to catch up with! Anyone who didn't get one who asked, check your in box as its full. Not going to mention names in case you don't want it known you're asking

    Here's one -

Online texting, generally of an adult nature. You know those adverts where you see for example 'text BABE to 81234 and chat to ladies in your area'. Well those ladies in your area are in fact eployees of the text company sat in front of their pc replying via a messenger type programme getting paid per text. I did this for a while, was paid each month on time and found it fairly easy (i'm used to being dirty he he). You can log on at any time of the day or night providing you answer a minimum number of texts per month (works out to about one hour per day if you worked daily)

I only left because my husband was taken into hospital and life in general took over a bit.

Horrible, I didn't know AVON were that bad!

They sent orders, they would arrive at 5/6am, and the delivery drivers signed them themselves - I had 12 packages from Avon, only ever signed one! I complained, got OOFT on the case, not heard anything since. Avon were not sending me items, not crediting my account, sending me thing NOTHING like my order, best one was a order of 30 things, only 2 I ordered, they wern't even out of stock on the other items when I called and checked!. Christmas things ordered in september didn't turn up until January, some not til march!

As a general rule, anything that asks you to make small craft products or stuff/address envelopes is likely to be scam (unless you're doing it for a small company such as the one Cerenia did it for) - most companies big enough to require that will send that work overseas to countries with much cheaper labour.

This link may be useful: http://www.findextrawork.co.uk/

Small? Its a HUGE garage with several branches, we had to do over 50,000 envelopes between the whole family. We just had a family member in the company who could get us the work, as its easier to get it done locally, in the Uk, then they don't have to send it all ove, and they know the stages of it being done very easilly.

    Ebay.

Find something to buy & sell.
Complete flexibility, you can operate at any time.

If you can source a product people want to buy, you can make proper business.

-that's the problem finding product from reliable source to buy at good price,
so you can make your profit.
    .
  • Cooking gadgets are always a good seller. I came home from a holiday in France with some bakeware which cost me about £1.00 each, they all sold on Ebay for about £8.00 each, which is what they cost in UK shops. I am off back there next month for a "booze cruise" but the beer will have to take a back seat, I will be stocking up on bakeware and loo rolls (24 scented loo rolls £1.20). When I am not searching for bargains, I am home based as a Mystery Shopper, Merchandiser and Auditor, I earn an income and it fits well around the kids.

Explains why our local Avon lady was so upset with me - she called around for the book back which had been thrown in the bin - She was quite rude and told me she had to have it back, and in future would I keep the book for her to collect. I politley told her that all junk stuffed un solicited through my door would go in the bin and if she wanted the book back best thing was to not stick it through my letterbox in teh first place!

Quite an uncharitable attitude towards someone trying to earn a few quid extra isnt it?

And the funny thing is......you posted that on a thread about working from home to earn extra money!
  • some factorys have out workers, my mum does reg work sticking lables on bags for packing etc gets about £70 a week for doing it
