EDIT you will need a phone line and a computer connected to the net.

This might be a little off topic, but when I had my kids I gave up working in finance in the city and became a childminder for a couple of years to bring the money in and stay at home with them...
Then when I got fed up of that, I relocated away from the city but wanted to get back into financial services so sat my mortgage advisor exams and became a self employed mortgage broker. (very good money, at present I make over 5k every month, sometimes much more)
Both of these jobs involve working from home but you do have to do exams to be able to do them legally
and for those interested, companies like the one I am involved with now take people on on a self employed basis to sell things like general insurance - motor, home, mortgage payment protection etc - they dont have vacancies currently but I'm sure other firms must do the sameI am a Mortgage Adviser
You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. mortgage mamma - this sounds really interesting to me, as i'm looking for a different career direction - any chance you could give me a bit more info - like what sort of experience you need to go into mortgage brokering, where you can do the necessary training etc, please?0
