Sparkly, I am part of one of those network marketing schemes that you refer to. Probably the very company you are meaning. With all due respect you haven't got a clue what you are talking about. Pyramid selling is illegal and has been for many years. Network marketing is what betterware, virgin vie etc use. It is a very ethical way of selling which just cuts out all the middle men. Our company has the Investor in People award and achieved this in 12 weeks and is the youngest company in the UK to do this. We also are recognised by the DSA Direct Selling Association. New distributors do not take our stock, they buy it from the Product Centre just like everyone else. Companies like this may not interest you but you should not critisise them until you have researched and are aware of all the facts.

I personally take offence that you suggest that i would introduce my friends and family to something which is a 'scam'. I could not live with myself if i did not 200% believe in what i am doing. I think the products are amazing, i earn a decent bit of money and i really, really enjoy it. Where is the harm in that????

    hi,

I think alot of the independent holiday companies now like work from home staff, as all you need is a computer and a telephone line, which i think they supply. I have been away with fleetway travel on several occasions and now my family and friends use them, every time i have rang them the person is working from home.

Worth a try, do a bit of research, check out all the companies on teletex, and you may get a job and cheap holidays.

    Good luck

    Part of the Furniture
My sister in law used to work for a component company, she had to assemble small electrical parts, they came in about ten pieces, were really fiddly and time consuming, the pay was rubbish and she had to collect and deliver them herself, she did however do the work for about twelve years, lots of mums in this area worked from home for them, but then they went bust.

I once worked for my sisters company, she was a secretary for a medical research company, it was just highlighting findings on print offs, got this through word of mouth. It was really boring and made me go cross eyed!

Does anyone actually do it and earn ok money for it

I've heard about people making reasonable amounts of money deliverign directories.

If you go to http://www.DEYA.co.uk, and on the right hand side go to working for Deya, then you can fill in the application details.
  • I think the way avon work it is to make you employee an supervisor rolled into one. you have to pay for the catalogues yourself so you can't order too many or you end up losing money hence why they are always banging on your door to get catalogue back

Also you pay avon for the whole order and then the clients pay YOU. Once again it's your problem if someone doesn't pays not Avon.

But as I said previously for me it's more about traipsing round the dodgy estates (I expect the decent areas are serviced by long serving avon ladies)
collecting vast amounts of money (well ok this is avon, but you have to sell a lot to get a decent profit.

I do a whole load of work from home things. I fill in data on the net all morning, I sell on ebay (anything is yet to beat this for a money making from home option), I enter comps and sell the prizes, I write reviews and I send tips to magazines. I'm about to re start the business I had before I had children too so that will be another work from home job.

    Here's one -

Online texting, generally of an adult nature. You know those adverts where you see for example 'text BABE to 81234 and chat to ladies in your area'. Well those ladies in your area are in fact eployees of the text company sat in front of their pc replying via a messenger type programme getting paid per text. I did this for a while, was paid each month on time and found it fairly easy (i'm used to being dirty he he). You can log on at any time of the day or night providing you answer a minimum number of texts per month (works out to about one hour per day if you worked daily)

I only left because my husband was taken into hospital and life in general took over a bit.
