Maybe I am getting to the point of stupidity or something, but from now on I am going to pick up every coin I see. If anyone else finds some money on the floor then I urge you to do the same and post it here! I wonder just how much cash is lying on our street unclaimed!

This made me smile as I already do this and find it great fun! Follow a group of young people who seem to be alergic to copper, or even small pieces of silver! Outside the local post office/newsagents/sweety shop can also provide treasure. Happy hunting!:D0 -
Self service ticket booths at train stations are also good, especially after rush hour!0

I found £60 in a waste paper basket in the post office once. The bin was just below the counter so it was onvious someone had dropped it. It was pension day so I handed it in. I hope the owner collected it.
Usually I just find 1p's!0 -
I found a 1p this morning while out walking the dog but it was at the edge of a field! Bizarre that I came across it.
If I ever pick a penny and I am with someone I always say the rhyme "find a penny pick it up pass it on to bring on luck" and pass it to who ever am with - maybe I ought to keep them instead!Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

I've found quite a few notes in the past. Many times they have been near banks, so have handed them into the banks and received rewards! Found about £300 once in bundled notes with an elastic band around them. Handed that into the police, left my details, and heard nothing..pixiechick wrote: »I always pick up any coins I find in the street - never managed to find any notes yet.Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410
