    XEL - expect RNS

The tanker has sailed back to Lerwick - uncertain if flow test has been completed or not. Expect an RNS at 7am to confirm situation.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

As you've probably gathered No Important RNS was updated, there was one about drawdown of shares but not the one we want, i stress NOTHING has changed, they would of provided RNS about problems if there was any.
    Just sit tight folks. :D

EDIT - Just read through more posts on discussion, apparently Oil has been flowing!, Betty (tanker) is now 1 mile away from harbour taking off 3 crew, from what has been stated a hose has split halting the flow test, but betty does have oil in her tank. Estimations are floating about!.

    Link here

One thing im not totally convinced on is, why would they only have one hose for flow testing?. That doesnt sit right with me, but going on the thread XEL has already risen back to around 250p.

Again folks have fun, pinch of salt with this update, please post if anyone has anymore information/tips.
  • Wait and see, remember tomorrow is the deadline for signing the Rowan rig contract and they will not want that to lapse, I have a feeling they know whether this is flowing now or not and what I and we all want to see in the morning is an RNS stating that the rig contract has been signed otherwise there may be 2.5 million pound penalty involved!

Please please XEL deliver this to us and make this one hell of an Xmas!

To say this share has been "interesting" would be an understatement. I have given up reading the huge amount of speculation abounding.

    Let's wait for the RNS.

  • So the hose was the problem!.
"Other" techniques have been idetified which im a bit worried about, as really it should be stated!.
    Kinda 50/50 RNS i think.
    Still holding until flow tests...

not sure what to make of these anymore they appear to have become somewhat accident prone.
  • It's like all AIM shares where you wish you'd sold at the high and then rebought to make some nice free shares or some more profit but trading this is pure luck! 5 minutes and it can rise by 10-15%!!!!

I'm holding for the flow results but I can see this slipping to the spring now as the weather changes on Sunday for a bad period to next wednesday. What we need is an RNS now saying that they have signed the Rowan rig contract.
  • The BOD have always updated us on how things are going. There's not many better in the AIM system. They needn't have said anything at all, but they've told us that the weather has caused delays, and they have a few technical problems. At this time of year, conditions in the North Sea can be incredibly hostile, so they're not going to risk safety just to get the flow test done at any cost.

The oil is still there, with an uprated deposit size, and they're committed to getting it out. Those who aren't prepared to wait should probably not be in this share at all. I've actually bought more today, and my current average price is now 61p, so I can wait a whole lot longer if needs be. ;)

im so glad i sold 75% at 314, they have clerly conducted flow test or know wether the well is commerical or not

i heard that the pipe broke due to pressure, but pressure from what...???

but i think its reasonable to assume they have completed the tests and know wether or not they are flowing

the additional we need to try other methods hardly sounds confident compared to pre flow testing "FSP and all that"

i wish i had sold all at 314 and my other top slice at 270, i now hold 10% and will probably add a short tomorrow aiming for 200p

BMR is a total dog f uk that pric k masoud alinki or whatever his name is, what na nazi bas trud i had no idea about his hisotry dodgy as hell

I hate to say this but I think you're correct blinko. IMO they have tested and not got anything like what they expected, the timeframe of events doesn;t add up. I will be selling the remaining shares tomorrow. Good luck everyone else but things don't add up anymore for me.
